Probably an arrangement with the Dodgers...they're probably pimping Konerko on their broadcast.

Watching the game on the Royals TV network and their announcers are flat out in love with Ozzie. They keep going on and on about how rare it is for a great player to make such a great manager, and that the Sox are so lucky to have such a guy leading their team.

Kinda funny since first of all, I didn't know Ozzie was considered a "great" player. And then considering how upset Sox fans have been with Ozzie lately.

I'm done with Jake Peavy. He has become frustrating as Gavin Floyd. Since he has come back off the DL, he has had that Floydesque meltdown inning in every start. Not to mention that he seems to throw about as many pitches as Edwin Jackson thru the first 4-5 innings of a game. In Colorado, the Sox were able to overcome Peavy's sillyness inning. Not so last night.

Peavy wasn't very good, but I'm sick of the offense not being able to score more than a few runs per game.

At this point in the season, I believe it is safe to say the Sox will not win this division unless a miracle happens. This team cannot consistently beat the weaker teams in their own division (Royals and Twins) and have a lengthy losing record against the Tigers, who will most likely win it.

The NL stretch is over and the Sox should have won more but just aren't good enough. Dunn has failed, Peavy is becoming another bust, and the OF is not solidified. This team just cannot manufacture a run when it is desperately needed and that marks a team as "not that good".

This is yet another lost season courtesy of Kenny and Ozzie. If the Royals love Ozzie so much, please take him.

At that start of thiis 19 game stretch, I looked at the schedule. To have a legit shot at winning the division, they would have to go 13-6 over the next 19. It does not look good. If they are not 5 or 6 over .500 by the Red Sox series, they should start selling off. There are some parts that could net some prospects. A team like Texas would give up something for Danks or Floyd.

Why is Morel hitting 2nd? He refuses to take a walk. He needs to be down at the bottom of the order.

I hate Dunn hitting 3rd. Hate it. C'mon, Ozzie. I know the only way he is going to hit is to fight thru this, but he left a goddam village on the basepaths last night. He simply CANNOT hit 3rd until he gets hot.

But he has no problem dropping Beckham, supposedly the untradeable prospect that everyone expects to be the next big thing to 9th. The logic is strange.

Guys, as much as I would like to see Gordon Beckham become this team's new leadoff hitter, I think if Beckham continues to hit better, I'd like to see him move from 9th to 7th in the lineup in the near future.

Dunn,

There is nobody within 40 feet of third base. Your batting average is under .180
In this situation, drop down a goddam bunt! Carlos Pena does it, and he's got stats that you couldn't dream of right now.

Jesus what is Ozzie thinking man?
Still batting Done 3rd against a lefty because his wild swings happened to connect a couple days ago.
He's still fucking terrible. Still .036 (both BA and SLG). That's unreal.

Darkside, you are preaching to the choir. Either it's arrogance on Ozzie's part or what Dunn did Monday night vs. the Royals was nothing more than a mirage...By the way, that's 109 strikeouts and counting for #32 in silver and black.

I don't know how strange it is. I know that the two teams share Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ during Spring Training.

Watching the game on Royals network and they just were telling people to go and vote for Alex Gordon and to also vote for Todd Helton. They said the Royals and Rockies had come to an agreement to vote for each others players. So sounds like the Sox and Dodgers did something similar

It's blacked out locally, but I believe that's FOX Sports Kansas City providing the visiting call for this afternoon's game.
