i do not understand why so many people dislike stone...the guy is smart and well spoken and well accomplished...i think stone would make a fine gm ..i believe he has turned down a few offers to come a gm as well

Yes, he won a Cy Young. The guy has been around baseball now for 40+ years and "the right position" never came up.

After the Cubs dumped him, he could have done anything he wanted and the only job he could come up with or chose to come up with was, White Sox radio announcer?
