Santo was a bad listen all around, but tolerated due to what he gave to the team as a player. It wasn't offensive...just amateur and bad. Hawk comes off as the biggest arrogant SOB when the sox are winning and it is vile to listen to. He is only tolerable when bitching and thats only because he draws more attention to himself than to the field.

But with Santo you had the best guy in the booth and he didnt let Santo run the broadcast. They also actually laughed together and some stupid stuff Santo did. The combo was a good listen.

Ok...fuck this. Santo absolutely sucked. I did not find him funny or entertaining. He got in the way of my enjoyment of the game. Only because I knew he would never be on a cubs broadcast again...or be be the pseudo cubs "loser" mascot again....I was "happy" when he passed. Did not wish him death...but wished he would go away.

I feel...and will feel the same about hawk.

And don't forget last night's Sox game.....I heard Hawk mention 3 different times in about 25 minutes how the Twins had a different strike zone from the Sox.
