There is no way Hawk is speaking for the next 2 innings.

Sure he will. He'll keep talking about that fourth out and all the gift runs. It's what he does.

This post game is fucking terrible. Not a single caller has laid the blame on Gavin Floyd. Its all Ozzie's fault. I wouldn't be surprised if something happens, but this team lost because of Gavin Floyd tonight. It is not because they lack the fire n passion, its not because Edwin Jackson was laughing in the dugout.

And the show ends without anyone really blaming the pitching meltdown. We did learn from a body language analyst that this team is losing because Edwin Jackson was laughing in the dugot which means that Ozzie isn't discipling his team. Keep in mind this is from a guy that goes to "30 to 40 games a year".

I wish it was as easy to fix as firing Ozzie or Walker or whoever. The offense will not remain this bad, but this team now basically is relying on getting hot as hell at some point soon. We saw how this worked out for the Blackhawks (It didn't, they backed into the playoffs.)

Quote:
CSNChi_Beatnik Brett Ballantini
Dunn: "Me and Alex talked about it, and we’re putting it all on us in the second half, basically" Yeah, this is going to end well...

However, if Walker had been fired JP would have hit 4 homers tonight. Not just regular ones either, four shots into the party deck.

It is pathetic that people expect them to just catch lightning in a bottle.
Mostly with Dunn and Rios, they need to change what they're doing.
What makes them think it will just click on game 91 when it hasn't through the first 90?

Baseball is full of guys who have one terrible half, and one great half. I'm not saying this will apply with Dunn and Rios, but it certainly isn't without precedent.

A fundamentally good team just has to stay close because the Sox will fuck something up defensively, pitching, running throwing something they make me :puker: :pukel:

But expecting it to just happen without making changes is hopeless.

I believe that Dunn has gone 0-2 today the crowd stood up and cheered we are behind you big Fella, Bernsie you're the King of the Meatballs (Matzaballs?) he's hitting .030 something against lefties. I don't think Kenny can defend him anymore! Even Ranger thinks they should drop him in the order. They talk about Hendry with bad paper ..how does Teahan, Peavy,Rios, and Dunn sound.I don't want to talk about remember '05 , cause my memory ain't so good anymore :(

Dunn and Rios obviously have hit before, slumps happen. I expect Dunn to start hitting at some point. Rios is more of a question mark. In regards to making changes, they need to bring up VIciedo. In a perfect world they would put Vizquel on waivers and create a spot. De Aza is also doing well.

Dunn is one of the most consisten hitters in the game. There is no reason to believe that he just forgot how to play baseball. Rios is also not this bad.

Rongey maintains the because Rios and Dunn are not hitting, that Viciedo will do nothing. Besides being a total red herring argument, it is silly to think that Viciedo's bat will not help the team. The guy has great stats, had a great spring and a good appearance last year. He is ready to contribute.

1st and 3rd. No outs. And the Jakemeister gets out of it with nary a run scored.

Take notes Gavin.

The batting of Dunn cleanup is absoultley baffling...Peavy has gotten out of a couple of jams.Looks like this Swarzak has got the Sox batters baffled........... yes the batters have been baffled all year :(

KW should be fired for these busters. This team will be done after today and will finish behind the Twins. Ozzie needs to be launched and anyone who thinks this team will finish strong is sorely mistaken. This team is just not good.
