I am eligible for a phone upgrade. I currently have a piece of shit flip phone. Any suggestions? Some of the better phones will be around 125-200 dollars unless i get a refurbished phone then it would be free-50 dollars. I don't know shit about phones.I do use my phone a ton for email and web browsing which has been challenging with a flip phone.

Regardless of your carrier, I would highly recommend any Android phone. While you only use your phone for email and web browsing now, you will be surprised by the options Android phones offer.

Not sure what carrier you are with, but I know a few people with a Sprint Samsung Epic (which is the Samsung Galaxy) love it. I am giving Blackberry until the end of August to come out with this phone, www.blackberry.com/boldtouch , otherwise I will be going to the Epic...one of the features that I like about the epic is that it is touchscreen and touchpad.

The only reason honestly at this point is blackberry messenger.

Other than being able to use unlimited characters, I notice absolutely no difference between txting and the messenger...pretty much the same exact interface now...
