Stations, all of them and the shows, make a huge mistake with this bullshit they pull around the all star game. I understand this "Nothing going on" period, but IF the NFL was around, something would be happening and this shake up stuff before the NFL camps start is a mistake.

I will pick on Silvy and Waddle as the sacrificial hosts but it goes for all the shows.

1. What can I expect for my NFL season? When will my regular NFL guests be on? my GOOD Fantasy guys, not these crappy ESPN tell me 2 days after everyone in my league picked him up crap! Who will be my regulars? Clayton? Charch? Billick? Hub? Bears reports etc. This is when my listening patterns will be formed for the upcoming season....

2. Contests- THEY ALL SUCK! Waddle and Silvy had a good one a few years ago, but they stopped promoting it when they lost interest with the Cubby Bear weekly pickem game. Pick 3 for Mac sucks too, to apply equal suckage. The year long pickem with a grand prize and weekly standings is a great game. Some sort of FFL for listeners, etc. If a sales guy can't get this contest sponsored.. quit. Now would be the time to start talking about it.

3. Training Camp - I know they all go out there but why? for what? Half the time they broadcast from a camper and the camps aren't even open during the shows anyways. Stay in the studio and let ZZ and JD tell you nothing from the practice field. None of the guys get their own story, they all repeat the same crap. From one trip out there 2 years ago, I watch Tommy Harris barely able to walk! Yet, listened to JD and ZZ report stories about how this guy looked good???? or how Brett Baszanae had a chance????? The guy threw a terrible ball, no zip at all, a looping pass, aka "6 the other way", but they said he looked good...and the Bears cut him.

I know much doesn't go on all the time, but JD and ZZ hang together and when one says "Look the O line is moving to the other field" they all migrate. Thus they all talk about what they see and BAM, the same story.

To "UNSINI: it, take your vacations, get a guy to fill in , make it obvious, find someone INTERESTING and don't move guys all over the board, unless......you plan to do something bigger..... Jurko and SIlvy!

To answer some of the questions,

1. I just listen to the Danny Mac Show, on Monday it's usally Jim Miller and Buffone, on Thursday they have a fantasy guy to talk about upcoming matchups and who to pick up, and Friday it's Hub. I do know Hub is on Tuesday and Wednesday on Boers and Bernstein.

2. On the games, I would say Who Do You Love was better in the past, when it was done with a segment and the guys made their picks and then they would have callers make picks, but then it was turned into a game and also I guess some people got mad when Bama Bryant would call in take a minute to give a pick on Bama's side.

3. The only thing I can say about training camp is, Mac said on the radio, that it's is one of the 2 most important trips of the year, with the other being spring training. The one year I went, I did get to see their show and met both Mac and Spiegel, that was nice. All it is just to talk to players and how you think the Bears will look on the season.

If thats all they give you that is all it is. Would like to see these guys have a night show and talk Bears while comparing notes for the first time. Not getting the story straight before

They should taylor the broadcasting to the training camp schedule a little bit. I don't see why they wouldn't.
