I've got about a 5-6 year old Toshiba Satellite L305-S5941. Out of the blue yesterday, it stopped picking up our wireless router. Tried all the usual troubleshooting things.....nothing helped. Had to plug it directly in the router. We have another laptop that is working perfectly fine with our router. And yes, the wireless switch is on.

Any ideas?

I have had the same EXACT Thing happen to my home laptop, and it was from my 3 year old pressing buttons.

Well, well, well........so yea I do have a 4 year old that's watching Wildkratts on this laptop quite a bit. And, after fucking around with the router technical details for 45 minutes I noticed the F8 button at the top of the keyboard with the WiFi antenna symbol. So I pushed it and bingo, back to normal.

Thank you for the help.

Sorry IMU but I'm not real good with this stuff. Do I re-install all of the network adapter drivers listed?

And thanks for pre-loading the link with my computer info.
