So after the whopping 2 runs they scored in the first inning yesterday the offense managed 1 run over the next 19 innings against the team that is 27th in ERA?!? It's unbelievable how shitty this offense is and meanwhile Viciedo is still sitting down at triple A.

I think this series was the last straw. Its hard to believe this team is only a week's winning streak away from being in first place, but this past series was unacceptable. Even Sunday 3 early runs, then nada.

Either Viceido is going to be up for the Cleveland series, or somebody (Cora? Walker?) is gonna get canned in the next 48 hours.

Time is long passed for Weird Jerry to kick Kenny Williams upstairs.

I still think you have to wait for the next 6. Go 5-1, you have an argument that you are in. Go 4-2 or worse and you are done.

The biggest problem is the guys you want to move, you can't. I don't seem them moving Buherle - too much PR bad on that.

Jackson has some value, but it's not going to be super high for a rental. Quentin is your most tradeable commodity.

No one will touch Rios, Dunn.

You should probably let Omar go to get Viciedo up there. Let Omar find another team to be a 5th infielder and chase a ring. let Lillibridge play that 5th IF position here.

You can take it to the bank that John Danks is not going to play Reinsdorf's Home Town Discount game.

I agree with this. They still have him for one more year but I would expect the pressure to be high to sign him to a long term deal this offseason. With Mark's contract coming off the books, they will have some wiggle room to increase his number and pull a Hendry and back load the deal. Arbritration would be ugly if they went to it this offseason after his start.

Again, LOLZ White Sox. Ozzie is finally pissed, while stupid AJ just chalks it up to being unlucky.

Blow up this fucking shitsack team and start from scratch. This team can't beat the Royals and people think the Sox have a run in them. Puh-lease. This should be Kenny's swan song as well as Ozzie's and Walker's. This Sox team is again a huge disappointment and is on pace to match the Cubs with stupid acquisitions and bad play season after season. This team isn't even at fucking .500 yet and it's mid-July.

Frank, the White Sox should have made a move (or two) during the All-Star Break. From what I heard, the Sox were about ready to send someone on Ozzie's staff packing as soon as they lost 3 out of 4 to the Twins at U.S. Cellular Field. That was about 2 weeks ago. What the hell are they waiting for?

By the time Dayan Viciedo arrives, it'll be too little, too late to salvage this "ALL IN" season!

It's time to move whatever dead weight you can and get some fresh young arms in here if possible.

ARMS?
Really?
Arms ain't the problem IMHO. The hitting is god awful and it's killing this team

You can never have too many young pitchers. That's what I'd be looking for in any deals.

After losing 2 out of 3 in CONSECUTIVE series to the Royals(?), General Manager Ken Williams should be working the damn phones to send RF Carlos Quentin, 3B/SS/2B Omar Vizquel, pitchers Gavin Floyd & Edwin Jackson and even LF Juan Pierre out of here once and for all! This is BEYOND RIDICULOUS! "ALL IN" my ass! :x :x

Why? I don't get this at all. Their problem is offense. That's their only real issue.
The starting pitching is solid, and the bullpen is pretty damn good. They should be looking to move pitchers for hitters.
Sorry man, I just don't see a case for looking for pitchers.

This is the way to go. You build with pitching and defense. Buerhle is not long for this team, so trade him while he's a hot commodity and get a really good prospect in return. Trade Jackson to a contender (if you can) for a bucket of balls, just to rid yourself of a contract far too rich for an inconsistent and all too often disappointing starter. They need to get guys in return that can make up a good rotation going forward. Peavy can't be counted on, so right now it's Humber, Floyd and Danks.

This team is still 4.0 games back. They are not going to sell. The division is so bad that they could still win it.

I will be surprised if the Sox do not do something today. In a perfect world Vizquel would be DFA'd and Lilli traded to create spots for Viciedo and De Aza

You are nuts. If they put Jackson on the trade market today they would have several takers and get a legitimate prospect. This is made even more true by him having a fairly reasonable contract so that the team could offer him arbitration. If he takes it, you have him locked for another year. If not, which is most likely the case with Boras as his agent, you get a pick.

The key to a sale would be not to allow the devaluation of both Buehrle and Jackson by having both on the market at the same time.
