he is going to give us, drumroll please.............a top five list....oooohhhhh
this week is his top 5 living actors, sorry connie francis you do not qualify. and we all know robert deniro will be number 1. i write this before watching(honest injun) if I am wrong i will admit it :)

5. eddie murphy - 48 hrs, trading places, beverly hills cop and saturday nite live, everything else he has done is crap. and he has no range, plays the same character. north says he mentioned to somebody that murphy was a top 5 actor and this somebody was mad because murphy was black(fritzy??) why does nort bring this story up? to make it look like he himself is not racist? denzel washington is 20 times the actor eddie is. I could name twenty black actors better than murphy. and then at the end, north praises the movie "the klumps"

4. leo decaprio - he names "gangs of NY" twice and only comes up with a couple movies he likes, yet he is mike's #4

3. al pacino - would agree with this pick. lots of good movies and good acting range.

2. robert deniro - off by one place  , not many good movies the past ten yrs, boderline pick for top 5. mike mentions "mad dog and glory" as a good deniro movie. nort once again shows his non credibility on a subject.

1. jack nicholson - yes he is a very good actor, is he number one, not in my opinion.

lucky us, tomorrow he will give us his top 5 gangster movies, gee let me guess this one right now.

godfather, godfather 2, goodfellas, the departed, harlem nights(he has to get an eddie murphy movie in right  ) he will have godfather 2 as his number one gangster movie.

this was the first video where he didn't do his opening watercooler remarks. did bebe finally break down and tell him his news rants were fucking horrid? not that his top 5 are anything special, anyone that thinks "mad dog and glory" is a great deniro flick needs help.

Deacon,
I thought I was the Northie watchdog on here. I have to admit you have surpassed even my own dedication to what's on NorthtoNorth.com. I'm amazed North can't see how Coppock's updates look way more professional.
He is losing the fight in his own sandbox, that's sad.

Mike North is embarassing himself these days.

I wish he would go back to talking sports everyday on a local station or even on satellite. These 5 minute videos are bad.

Get him on your "Sports and Torts," "Babes and Barristers", "Chicks and Chancery" or "Ladies and Lis Pendens," or whatever your podcast is called these days.

5. little ceasar - ???? from 1935 starring edward g robinson.

4. bronx tale - kisses chaz palmeteri's ass, must want him to come on his show. it was ok movie, not a top 5 for sure.

3. casino - again a good movie, borderline top 5

2. godfather 2 - yes this is top 5 movie

1. godfather - probably

no goodfellas, once upon a time in america.

top 5 roll and roll/ soul groups. look for a lot of old time acts here, does connie francis make it?

remember to visit rosemont too. you know its only 5 minutes from ohare airport. that is really convenient if i go eat at gibsons and then decide on the spur of the moment i want to fly to new york city i can get their in 5 minutes. wow does rosemont have it going on or what.

Every list begins with Godfather 1 and 2. That's near perfect film making.

Any list that doesn't include Corky Romano should automatically be ignored. Special mention should also be given to Oscar.

If by "these days," you mean since about 1995, then I would agree with you.
