Was it Dan Hudson they gave up to get Jackson?? he's gone 18-8 since the trade to the Diamondbacks....Until the guys they got in this deal have time to prove themselves it's impossible to judge, but it sure looks like keeping Hudson might have been a lot smarter. Of course, I said that when the move was made-taking on that additional salary was foolish. Will the moves continue now? Or was this a solitary move?
No, you didn't. You seemed to be just fine with it and you thought that Edwin Jackson and Jenks may have been too much to pay for Adam Dunn.
Try researching a bit more.
Please post the link to the post where you said when the move was made that "taking on that additional salary was foolish". I couldn't find it but you seem confident that you did.
My problem is that you constantly do this. At the time something happens, you say generic stuff and then pretend like you called it. Now, you filled in the details on your argument with the benefit of hindsight and you think you are convincing people that you are some sort of baseball fortune teller. So, either put up or shut up. Post the link where you said at the time the move was made that the move was foolish.
By the way, this link indicates that you did not ever do that.
Google Search for your criteriaSo I did my research, and I find you to be rewriting history to try and convince yourself and others of something you didn't say. This is a formal challenge. If you can show me a post where you said it was foolish to make the move in a reasonable proximity to the time of the move I'll admit I was wrong. Otherwise, don't try and make things up. Your strategy of making generic statements and then filling in the blanks later isn't fooling anyone.
