I love it. Rosie was suggesting that the Sox hit too many homers. Walker basically called him an Idiot.

He said that it's not like the power guys have low averages. What the fuck is wrong with hitting homers. It's a run. And Walk said they just don't swing for them. They hit them the other way and have good averages. He told them. "Last I check a home run counts for a run." That's a good point Walk. LOL.

Rosey has really been slumping lately. Maybe he has heard/seen the writing on the wall. Today his cell phone rang three different times during the show....Sean called him out for it and Rosey said something like, "taste of your own medicine." Certainly sounds like he doesn't care anymore.

I thought Rosey was trying to make the point that this isnt a grinder team, its a homerun team, they really dont do a lot of bunting and base to base style baseball.

I think Walker answered a questions, just not what Steve asked him.

I didn't hear the show, as I'm up in Toronto - but Rosey is partially right....

Kenny Williams says this year the Sox will get back to "Ozzie Ball" .... back to the grind.

Ozzie didn't trade Aaron Rowand (the definition of a 'grinder) for a home run power hitter, that doesn't steal bases. Kenny did.

I still think Rosenbloom would be better if he was paired with a better radio partner - sitting across from him in the studio.

The Sox can try to get back to "Ozzie ball" or "grinder ball" or whatever it is called but if the Sox pitching staff performs like last year (10th in AL) instead of 2005 (1st in AL) it doesn't matter how many bunts or stolen bases the Sox have.

I may be wrong but it seemed to me that in '05 the Sox won a lot of games 3-2 or 2-1. Last year when the Sox scored two or three runs, they lost.

The pitching staff will make or break this team, not playing grinder ball.
