Thank you Jakemeister.

Now I don't feel bad about abandoning the Sox for Raw.

That was a nice play so he's 1-4 in the field. Too bad he can't be that good at the plate.

Wow that ended up being a hell of an outing by Jake. Too bad these dicks keep running and bunting into outs.

I retract my previous statement in regards to Jake Peavy.

Solid performance.

Why pinch run, Ozzie? Dunn will strikeout again.

Maybe they should stop running and bunting. Guillen killed a big inning on Sunday with an ill-advised two man sacrifice too.

But that's Ozzieball. Take an over-aggressive lead at second when it's completely unnecessary.

Yet another thing that pisses me off about this hapless operation is every single time the Cubs are in the tank, the Sox are right there with them. Empty seats everywhere with Boston and the Yankees in town....THIS IS ALL ON THE DUMB FUCK WHITE SOX DULL ASS SAME OLD SAME OLD APPROACH EVERY FUCKING SEASON.
WIN NOW with Genius Kenny Williams!!!

I had to laugh last night at Hawk in the 9 inning talking about Peavy's performance. He was gushing most of the game about how Peavy is such a competitor. Well he goes on to say that Peavy is one of the few pitchers that can fight through a game even without his best stuff. He said that was a rare trait. I might dispute that opinion about Peavy at this point in his career, but what really got me is what came next. He said Mark Buehrle is also like that. Then he said Danks is becoming like that. Then he said Floyd is like that. Ok, Hawk is it really so rare if the entire Sox starting staff is like that? You damn homer!

The White Sox had their chances vs. C.C. Sabathia last night, but hit into 3 double plays and 2 of the runners, Gordon Beckham & A.J. Pierzynski, got caught off second to end innings...

To make matters worse, Comcast SportsNet's smooth-sounding Chris Boden reported in his postgame "Press Pass" on "SportsNet Central" that Paul Konerko's knee, not his calf, is pretty sore. Konerko might miss the rest of the series, likely meaning the Will Ferrell/Larry the Cable Guy-looking Adam Dunn continues to play first base whether we like it or not. With Phil Hughes, A.J. Burnett and Bartolo Colon starting the rest of the series for the Yankees, Brent Morel returns to the bench and Omar Vizquel likely starts at third base the next 3 games. It may also mean Carlos Quentin continues to DH, and could Alex Rios be shifted to right field like he played in Toronto? He can't be much worse in right than he's been in center, can he?

Can't say I'm surprised by this lineup. Third base, until further notice, is a platoon with Omar Vizquel playing vs. the righties such as the Yankees' Phil Hughes, A.J. Burnett & Bartolo Colon, the other three starters Joe Girardi has lined up in this 4-game series. The bottom of this lineup should be Beckham, Rios and DeAza, not the other way around.

Not that it matters at this point, but it remains to be seen if Derek Jeter returns to the Yankee lineup after missing last night's game with a hand injury sustained in their game Sunday vs. the Orioles in the Bronx. They seemed to do well without him last night...

A lot of empty seats. Fans - apparently not all in.

Great video montage before the game, showing all the great moments in White Sox history. It was really emotional, and it got several dozen fans fired up.

I was sitting within ear shot of Adam "The Oaf" Dunn. In honor of Aggravated White Sox Fan Bob, I screamed "You are a big oaf" at him several times.
