He's getting older, and the Yankees have thought about moving Derek Jeter to a different position and batting him lower in the order now that he has 3,000 career hits. I don't think Joe Girardi has any plans to move #2 in Yankee pinstripes out of the leadoff spot, let alone shortstop any time soon.

I am not angry at all. When fools like this open their mouths, I laugh uproariously and mock them. Every person has to scratch and claw their way through life. People like this make the journey a little easier.

Also, I will bet he did not even watch the game, because Eduardo Nunez looked anemic at the plate, so having a Future Hall of Famer at the plate might just be an upgrade. Sarcastic chortle.

Eduardo Nunez is not Alex Rodriguez at third, let alone Derek Jeter at shortstop for the Yankees. He usually gets very, very limited playing time at best for those 2 veterans, but Nunez has been playing more with Rodriguez on the DL with a torn meniscus and Jeter out with a hand injury last night. When A-Rod & Jeter are healthy again, Nunez watches the game again from his spot on the bench...

if i had to guess i would say this season the yanks have a better win % minus jeter than with him ...could be wrong but it just seems to me they win more games when he is missing..much more speed at the top of the lineup when he is gone.

Hopefully the Sox get swept. Kenny and Ozzie and Dunn deserve it. Kenny and Ozzie need to be elsewhere next year. I hope the Cell is deserted for the remainder of the season.

Thats true, but Ozzie is the one trotting him out there hitting 3rd and 4th. I know the only way he might get out of this is to play almost everyday, but he should be hitting 7th or 8th.

And then move Morel and Beckham up? I just think there are too many dogs to make this line-up into anything special. There is no doubt Kenny and Ozzie could adjust some things, but I assign 75% or more of the blame to the folks on the field. Rios was a mistake, but his train wreck season is not Kenny's fault. He has been a lot more productive in year's past. Rios hit .284 last year with 21 HR's and 34 SB's. He's at .206. How is that Kenny's fault?

As I said in other threads, you can give my Cubbies' Kenny anytime. Kenny is truly All In. His players are not.
