I'm humbled, and "Humber"-ed... By the way, that bum lefty that started for the Orioles last night, Jo-Jo Reyes, was the 11th different starting pitcher this year by that team. I saw a graphic this morning on MLB Network's "Quick Pitch" that showed that the O's have the most different starting pitchers this season in Bud Selig's Major League Baseball. I think Baltimore adds to their total tonight with Tommy Hunter, the ex-Ranger toeing the rubber vs. Philip Humber.

The lineup is in for the third of 4 between the White Sox & Orioles in Baltimore tonight. These are the guys who will deal with Orioles' righty Tommy Hunter:

Why is Visquel at shortstop? In that 2nd inning his lack of range cost us 2 hits and at least one run. Alexei makes both of those plays. One of them could have been a double play. Visquel has no range and no arm.

How many teams have a backup shortstop that's 43 years old? My guess would be it has never happened in the history of MLB. It's the most important defensive position on the field and we have him out there in the stretch run? Dumb. Give me a kid from the minors at this point if Ramirez needs a day off every now and then. Doesn't matter if the kid can hit.

Because Ozzie loves him.
