Ugh.

That was probably gonna be the best chance to score.

Twins have bases loaded in the 9th with no outs @ Tigers in a 4-4 game. It's on MLB network on a live look-in now.

I've been really impressed with Zack Stewart. I'm not saying he's the next Tom Seaver or anything but he definitely looks like he could be a solid middle of the rotation starter. He's got a lot of movement.

Yeah, today becomes a must win situation. The Texas series concerns me and they cannot go in on a bad note.

I'm starting to get concerned about tonight's White Sox starter Philip Humber, guys. Since the July 2nd win over the Cubs at Wrigley, Humber's ERA has ballooned to around 8.00 in his last 4 starts or so and doesn't seem to have the command or location that he had earlier in the season.

As for the Rangers, they have won 6 in a row and now have a 7 game cushion over the Angels in the AL West with one more game in that series late night tonight in Anaheim. After 3 with the defending American League Champions over the weekend, the White Sox then head out to Anaheim and Seattle for a 5 game road trip starting Tuesday at Angel Stadium. I think we are looking at the beginning of the end of the '11 Sox, guys.

Humber has thrown more innings than at any point in his career. He's in need of a skipped turn in the rotation or Stewart being added for a sixth man. I think the sixth man has made a world of difference to Buehrle this year as well.

Point well taken, GD. Because Zach Stewart worked out of the bullpen last night in the 4-1 loss to the Indians, it's very doubtful that Stewart finishes the homestand vs. the Rangers Sunday as a starting pitcher.

It's my understanding that Gavin Floyd (yuck!) starts the finale of the Texas series Sunday, based on what I saw late last night on Chicagobreakingsports.com. I've seen enough of Floyd! GET HIM OUT OF HERE!!!

Ozzie has shaken up the lineup yet again in the finale of the Indians' series. Feast your eyes on this less than threatening lineup vs. the Indians' Justin Masterson tonight:

1 Juan "So I Went 0 for 4 Last Night?" Pierre LF (L)
30 Alejandro "Still Getting It Done in the #2 Hole" De Aza RF (L)
14 Paul "Still Too Sore To Play First" Konerko DH (R)
32 Adam "Actually Got a Hit Last Night...Whoo hoo!" Dunn 1B (L)
10 Alexei "Only Run of the Game!" Ramirez SS (R)
51 Alex "Better Make The Most Of This Opportunity" Rios CF (R)
11 Omar "Morel's Starting to Scuffle" Vizquel 3B (S)
17 Tyler "Donny Can't Hit" Flowers C (R)

15 Gordon "At Least I Didn't Strikeout" Beckham 2B (R)

Philip "Ordinary Average Righty" Humber starts for the White Sox this eve at 7:10p on 670 The SCORE & Comcast SportsNet. Hope to have the Indians' lineup later this afternoon.

The Indians' lineup is now in, and here are the guys that'll deal with the White Sox Philip Humber this eve at 7:10p. The changes are in bold.

23 Michael Brantley LF (L)
22 Jason Kipnis 2B (L)
13 Asdrubal Cabrera SS (S)
48 Travis Hafner DH (L)
41 Carlos Santana C (S)
17 Shin Soo-Choo RF (L)
1 Kosuke Fukudome CF (L)
7 Matt LaPorta 1B (R)
9 Jack Hannahan 3B (L)

Justin Masterson toes the rubber in the finale of 3 at "The Cell".

Pitching to Paulie with Dunn up next is like having an intelligent conversation with RFDC...a losing proposition :)
