As I found with Boers, I think it's weird these "HIGH PAID" hosts feel the need to do there shows from home. Your paid a great buck to have your lazy ass in studio .. I'm sure the producers and staff members are like WTF.

Yeah, XScoreGuy says Agase told North to stay home during the buyout negotiations because his behavior was becoming a "distraction".

Because Terry Boers is Terry Boers. Meaning he can do whatever he pleases. They should be taking the proper steps in moving the SCORE studio to Mokena.

Bores negotiated the home broadcasts in exchange for agreeing to move to drive time.

What I don't understand is the fact they promote "live from pappyland" like anyone cares. Is this supposed to be important that he's broadcasting from home? Why would anyone care or think it's a big deal?

Not to mention for me anyhow, it sounded like they were broadcasting from pappy's closet

I'd like it if they told Boers to stay home for every show and cut his feed

one would have assumed that he has a pro-grade studio set up there.

I don't see any problem with Mac, North, Boers, or whoever broadcasting from home on occasion, if it's stipulated that they can do so in their contract. And with the situation on the Dan Ryan and where Mac and Boers are driving from, I don't blame them.

I work in IT in a thin client environment where most of the work and maintenence on all the workstations can be done from one singular location. My boss commutes all the way downtown from Minooka, and there have been days with inclimate weather, or other reasons, that he has worked from home via the technology afforded to us. Just like the situation with the radio hosts, yes, it would be better if they could make it into the building, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as it's not abused or inconveniences other people in the workplace greatly.

They do that because every little thing that Mike does is very exciting. On tomorrow's show during the 6 o'clock hour, North is going to cut his toe nails. As that segment starts, they will play the sound bite with a voice-over guy saying in his huge manly voice... "and nowwwwww. Mikeee Nortthhhh, cutttss hisssssss toeeeee naillssss!!!"
