Hey now, the White Sox took 2/3 from the first-place rangers.... and they straight clowned derek holland today! floyd spun a shutout! hey hey!!!

....despite all that, it still feels like they lost ground this weekend and there's even less of a chance that they'll make it. i mean, idk what people are hoping for with this team... if anything it'd be like 2008 where they ride a wave of emotion and grit to get in, only to get sonned by a better team in teh first round... but still, you just gotta get to the dance and then there's always that small chance you can score with the hottest chick in school.... but you won't be able to do it unless you see her at the dance, you know?

still, even tho they handled business this weekend it oddly feels like a net loss to me... does anyone else get this vibe?

That was a HUGE win. Nice to finally see a laugher. Great job coming back to win 2-3 and a really nice outing from Gavin. I've been really impressed with yler Flowers. He looks like a different player. That Vazquez deal just keeps looking better and better. 5-4 homestand means they still have work to do on this roadtrip.

Nice win but Detroit does it again. They'll run into the buzzsaw that's the Rays tomorrow.
Sox idle tomorrow too. Feels like three steps forward four back.
