It's usually pretty good when he is.

Is Waddle still there?

I wish Jurko still had a radio show. I always liked him.

In that case, pretty good is an overstatement.

Silverman and Jurko would be good radio. Waddle makes it bad.

Just like Carmen and Jurko is decent radio. Harry makes it unlistenable.

Waddle doesn't get enough hate for being one of the worst sports personalities in the City

he does from me! I've long been on record for hating Waddle, who comes from the David Kaplan school of kiss-the-ring yuppie douchebaggery. Waddle leaves his idyllic life to come down to our level and condescend for four hours... and then Giangreco shows up!

Yeah I like Silverman alot but Waddle's condescending attitude and the fact that he knows crap all about any sport that's not football and meh. Its a pretty hard listen.

Waddle is one of my favorites and I've never thought of him as being condescending, I actually think he's pretty self-deprecating and doesn't take himself too seriously. I don't see any similarities between he and Kaplan (IIRC, they often disagreed on their show) and found Kaplan to be disingenuous and weaselly. One of the reasons I like Silvy and Waddle is because I think they say what they actually mean rather than what they think will get a cheap rise out of people or foster some gimmick.

I agree. I don't see Waddle's arrogance. I think he is a lot like Jurko.

I think some of you guys take Waddle way more seriously than he does himself. I think he's a genuinely good guy and in no way condescending. He's just a wimp who is terrified of anything that can be controversial.

Silvy and Jurko would be a great show imo

Maybe I don't listen enough then. Something about Waddle has always left me flat though. I have stayed away from sports talk for the better part of 6 months because the Cubs suck. The Bears aren't playing yet and the NBA isn't going to have a season so until business picks up a bit I am not a big enough glutton for punishment to tune into 670 or 1000
