It should be a crazy gaming season. Lots of highly hyped games. Just curious if any of you are going to pick up these titles?

I'm sure I'm missing a few. Rage and Skyrim could be HUUUUUUUGE time suckers, but very excited. I kinda loved the last Batman game. This one looks even better. I'm a sucker for the FPS, so BF3, MW3 and Gears 3 will be in the stable too.

My scheduled purchases as of right now...November is going to slaughter my wallet...4 games in 3 weeks...just sucks that I'm going to be splitting time between MW3 online and Skyrim so close to each other...

I'm a little surprised to see you buying Gears 3! I thought you gave up after the debacle that was 2. The only reason I'm getting it is that for some reason, my best gaming buds think that multiplayer is the most fun... I disagree, but they are too much fun to game with, so I will be a lemming!

Also, no Rage for you? I would've thought you'd be a ID junky like me.

I'm getting Gears 3 strictly for single player...might give the multiplayer a shot but I don't see it lasting longer than a month or so for me.

Wanna see how it ends, huh? Could be a spoiler. Aliens invade. Destroy their home. Earth saved. But many of the Gears heroes give their lives... Marcus Fenix doesn't make it. That's my guess. And I think you might get to take on a Brumak again.

But yeah, I just want to see how it goes down...I could see Marcus going down, but more likely in my book would be either his father (if he is indeed alive) or Dom (considering he's got nothing left to fight for) taking the fall if such a sacrifice is needed...

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is getting smashing reviews. I'm actually going to install my copy of the original (not the consolized and bad Invisible War) and have a go at it.

Funny story (at least I think so)...in college when I lived in the dorms my roommate would make fun of me for playing that game non-stop and such. I couldn't help it, it was addictive as hell. So I leave for home for the weekend on Friday morning....I come back Sunday after noon and my roommate is on my comp playing the game and at the final area.....he didn't even notice me walk in or say "Hey bro, oh, playing Deus Ex?" he just kinda turned to me and said "I dunno man, I've been sitting here for 3 days playing this, I can't stop, I won't stop" and then went back to playing it. I had to leave so I didn't see the ending.
