I think Hawk just gave the Stone Pony a pearl necklace after that hit.

Nice sombrero on the kid behind the dugout.

I hope he gets beaten with a hard taco shell.

What a shitty game. Bad defense and bad baserunning. That was a game they really needed to win.

We've said that how many times over the last 4 weeks?

I hope they can get white heat red hot and make a run at this, but I just don't think its going to happen. Its been a very disappointing season.

Guys, if Ozzie had his way, about half of his roster would be sitting tonight vs. Anaheim's newly rich Jered Weaver. Besides what happened with Gordon Beckham and his mental error failing to cover second in the bottom 9th on the base hit by pinch hitter Alberto Callaspo, the White Sox were immediately in a hole when Juan Pierre and Alexei Ramirez committed errors that led to the first run of a night that I think Mark Buehrle would like to forget. It seemed like Buehrle made quite a few extra pitches because his defense let him down.

So Ozzie's way is to play tonite's game with only 5 players on the field?

The roster is 25. Sitting half would leave you 12-13 guys.

Guys, the White Sox are currently at 24 players. While they are hoping Carlos Quentin and his shoulder are healed come Friday in Seattle, they are continuing to drag their feet on Dayan Viciedo, still at Triple "A" Charlotte. I'm not so sure CQ returns this weekend...

I know, but I'm figuring that 7 or 8 or those are pitchers.

Okay, Weaver, listen carefully. You can hold on to your red snapper... or you can go for what's in the box that Hiro-San is bringing down the aisle right now! What's it gonna be?

Doofis Dunn forgets how many outs there are! playing 1st steps on the bag for the second out in the third inning and starts walking off the field. You'd think with all the strike 3's he's seen...he could count to 3.

Of course hawk & Stoney say nothing.

After Dunn's boner..next guy hits a bomb. Then Dunn bats in the 4th and....you guessed it, strike 3....again.

That was HILARIOUS...
He's looking to get the ball tossed from the dugout... and he flips his glove like C'mon man... and then he doesn't get the ball and he does the glove flip again as he's still walking toward the dugout... c'mon man!... then someone must be holding up two fingers cause he like nods and holds up 2 and walks back to first.

Funniest thing I've ever seen. Well, close.

Dunn, you're gonna have more strikeouts than your batting average, and you are a fucking LIAR:

“The ball was scuffed," Dunn said of the grounder that was hit by the Los Angeles' Angels' Bobby Abreu. "I was just throwing the ball out.”

Bullshit bullshit bullshit.

7 or 8 of those (not or those dumbass) are pitchers?? If you look at major league rosters, you will find that most teams have 11-12 pitchers on their active roster (5 starters-6 for the Sox at times this year and 6-7 bullpen pitchers). That leaves just 13-14 position players. Half of that number would be at best 7. Geez....and people give me crap about my math.

5 hits, 11 K's...The White Sox were so punchless last night, Jered Weaver could've gone the distance for the Angels. To make matters worse, the Trib's Mark Gonzales tweeted around midnight that RF Carlos Quentin's listed as "doubtful" for the Mariners' series over the weekend in Seattle. Dayan Viciedo's arrival can't come fast enough, but too late to save this "ALL IN" season.

Who cares he made one mistake. He is not a lazy player, he isn't "not trying", he is more hurt by this season than you are. As Ozzie explained (in his own way), he is just totally mindfucked right now. What is important is that he comes back next year and contributes. I bet he does. He is one of the games most consistent hitters, it is far more likely that this was just a fluke bad year. Everybody has them, remember when everyone was ready to kill Konerko?

I am sick of all these statements, plenty of legit reasons to be upset about this year. The guy said he is going to work hard this offseason, there is no indication that he will not. He has been a great teammate and handled this well. There is no reason to try to personally attack him and question his makeup.

Biggest fucking mistake they have made all year was not calling up Viciedo. This team was never "all in" if they had to wait for him to reach September status before getting him up her. I think that falls on Kenny more than anyone, but Ozzie played a role. That pissing contest those two got into early this year was a joke. I would like Hahn to take over as GM so that our manager and GM can actually stand to be in the same room with each other.
