Big Fan is trusted. From what I understand, Score people like him. He's not the type to make stuff up. Why would some random girl he ran into just make this up out of no where? That's more unbelievable than Lary doing it.

Well, here we go. She might still sign in or her brother would read this and say something, as he was familiar with the site.

So she is sitting next to me and we just start talking. Says she is from Chicago. Tells me a story about her sister texting into the show of 'That little black guy". She didn't know his name. I said Holmes, she said Yes. Made sure it was not Jason, she said no, it was Laurence Holmes, as the chill ran down her spine when she said it.

Telling this story doesn't make you appealing or interesting. Just sounded like small talk at a ball game. Sounded like a concerned girl worried about her sister as she said she had to check out Larry at a remote to see what her sister got involved with.

Can work backwards on this one. Think she said 10 Ft Midget teaches her brother? or just knew him?

Ether way, happened as said, probably even left some stuff out. That's all it was small talk.

KS, when I go places, things happen. Sometimes good, sometimes bad.

Actually have a ton of info, can't put up from other stuff.

I don't know (nor care) how real this story is... I'm happy to not see the word "sexting" in the story.

For you, I'll text in see if anybody wants to have some chicken, maybe some sex. Does it have to be the score?

Joey Meyer - Food King (Yes, there was a Food King on Sheffield and Fullerton back in the day)

This just adds to the lack of control, structure and strong management over there at the Score. I've said it before. The backups and part timers over there are out of control. They use the station to cry and bitch about their lives; tell us boring stories about their days; they bad moutch ex Score people or other media types of whom they perceive to be their personal enemy, they tell you how the station has wronged them by not making them the highly paid stars that they think they deserve to be. Now we learn that they use the Score as their personal dating service while they host radio shows.

This stuff would never happen at ESPN 1000. ESPN people are aware of their rules and policies. It's made clear to them. They know there are consequences if they break company policies and rules. Nobody would dare try to proposition a female caller/texter. It really is a poor reflection on Mitch and Zim and their mananging abilities. The inmates run the asylum at the Score. They are out of control wild banshees. How far will this go? I just hope somebody over there puts a stop to it before somebody gets hurt, laws are broken or somebody dies.

Larry is not going to be happy about this attempt to cockblock his game.

Forgive me for caring about Score listeners. I know that makes me evil. I don't want some innocent young lady being naive and going to some strange, unkown house to meet a talk show host. Funny. I've been told I'm the weird and strange one by some Score people. We've all been told by Score hosts that their callers and listeners are weirdos and scum of the earth. Like I've always said, it's the Score people that are the weirdos. This is just further proof.

Really! Outside an obsession or two, I wonder why they'd say that?

Hopefully it works. If Mitch and Zim won't put a stop to it, it's a good thing this board is here to embarrass him and shame him into stopping. Let's make sure. All of you Larry people text him and sign it with a female name. If you get no invite to is house, we'll know it worked. We'll have saved Chicago's women from the insult of being asked and perhaps some naive women from making the mistake of accepting the offer. Who knows? Maybe we save some mentally challenged person from accepting the offer. That's another thing Larry has no idea of when he does this. That's why it's so disgusting, dangerous and stupid.

Just imagine all of the women that have possibly declined the offer. I wonder when they start posting on this board.

Claims her sister sends in a text, somehow identified as a female? And Larry sends back a "R U Single?". Now I am sure Larry is the not the first guy in radio to pick up a chick because he is on the air, but it still makes it none the less creepy he is responding to texters with propositions.

Not to mention, I have to figure there is some CBS Policy on that type of shit, but that is his problem and shall not interfere with the story.

Larry proceeds to invite her to 'The Crib" to "Chill out" the next night and she goes! She told her sister before she went, she told her she was nuts for doing it.

Per the sister, Larry didnt get anything (but who knows?)

So the sister, needs to see who this guys is, so Larry is doing a remote in the S Loop for something, so she goes to see him and her words to me are "Ewwwww! what a creepy looking dude"

To be fair, I don't think Larry looks that creepy (Until he smiles), but that makes him none the less actual creepy in a Napoleonic Stalker kinda way.

So....

Short version of the story.

A girl texted in to Laurence...he SHOOK IT and her sister thought it was weird, so she went and checked out Laurence at a bar

Id say the girl who listens to and texts sports radio show hosts and hooks up with them the next day comes off as bad in that story.

talk about a mic sniffer

Right. He eventually got fired cuz of that. I'm not saying they don't fuck up, but there are consequences at ESPN. That's the point. Same with Harold Reynolds. They kicked his ass out too.
