Here you go fucking Ozzie. You will manage on a one year contract next year and if you don't like it you can retire having mediocre seasons 2 out of 3 years. The Marlins will have their vacancy filled by then and then you can figure out how many other teams stand in line to hire the drama that comes with your slightly above average managing style. Maybe that new team can draft your last ultra talented kid in the 50th round to piss you off.

Then maybe you can work in TV where I'm sure you'll be able to handle the criticism over your inabilities with a language you have been speaking for 30 years.

Thanks, SJ. By the way, Adam Dunn now has 157 K's this season after swinging and missing for Brent Lillibridge in the bottom 9th.

Good thing Ozzie batted Rios cleanup today again.

When you starter gets lit up for 6 runs in the first inning against a team with 53 (i think) wins and a woeful lineup, the cleanup hitter for the Sox really doesn't matter.

They scored 6 runs, and that should be more than enough to beat the Twins. Peavy has been the worst starter on this staff since he's come back off the DL with the groin strain.

The Dunn pinch hit was just weird. What could have been the purpose of that other than Ozzie wasn't trying to win that game? That's the only conclusion I can come to. It must have been an attempt at throwing the game.

After submitting that last post, I thought to check if he'd ever faced Joe Nathan.
He hadn't.

So you take a guy who has sat the last 4 days, sat all day today, and you pinch hit him in a make or break situation against an ace closer that he's never seen before?

Bizarre. HAD to be giving this one away.

Just stuff about how those homers aren't homers on "Normal Days"...
and how he will be grateful for "a full offseason in which to get healthy" and that he was too "run down" to play well today and that he can "run ya 6 miles" but his right arm "ain't there".

And general asshattedness.

Sure Ozzie was bad yesterday, but it figures you don't say a word about Peavy, his performance, and his comments after the game. "I can hold my head high because I competed." Fuck you. You gave up a 6 spot to one of the worst teams in the AL. If your arm is really that weak, you never should have come off the DL. Jake Peavy Day can kiss my ass.

I had no trouble with Alejandro De Aza pinch hitting for Brent Morel, let alone "Old Man" Omar Vizquel pinch hitting for Gordon Beckham in the bottom 9th. My problems were having Adam Dunn and his now 157 K's pinch hitting for Brent Lillibridge, and starting pitcher Zach Stewart running for Paul Konerko after he drove home 2 runs with a single to cut the Twins' lead to 7-6. What the hell was Ozzie thinking?! :x :x Besides, The SCORE's Dan Bernstein mentioned on a couple of occasions that Lillibridge's 1 hit vs. Joe Nathan was a home run. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Lillibridge homered earlier in that game...

This game is more on Peavy than anybody else, Six fucking runs in one inning. Batting Rios cleanup is absurd.

He did. But lets not get crazy with Lillibridge, he isn't all that great and cannot hit against righties. This is the first season he has ever hit above the Mendoza line against RHP. He is a good utility guy but lets not turn him into the new Pods.

To Be Clear: Not saying they should have pinched for him, I could have gone either way.

Who would you have preferred run for Konerko? Or would you have left him in there? Because I can guarantee that if Ozzie would have done that and Konerko didn't score when a faster guy would have, the screaming would be far worse. I don't know much about Zach Stewart as a runner, but I'd guess he's a young, athletic guy who probably excelled at all sports not too long ago.

Usually, a position player, not a pitcher would run for Paulie in that spot. What if the game went to extra innings?

Why is Donny Lucy on this roster, especially if Tyler Flowers continues to get all the PT behind the plate in A.J. Pierzynski's absence due to the DL?

You really want them to go without a back-up catcher? Come on now, SHARK. You're way smarter than that.

I couldn't care less what a guy says after the game. He had a bad inning. Holy fuck let's take him out back and shoot him in the nuts! He came back with 4 good innings and gave the team a chance to get back in the game which they did only to have the rug taken out from under them by their dumbshit stubborn as a fucking mule manager.

Donny Lucy and that was it. I don't really have an issue with pinch running for the Slowest Man In Baseball (when he's healthy). Dunn is a different story...
