I get in the car and hear the post-commercial intro for Murph's "Tourney Remote". I think oh wow...Murph is going to talk hoops. Murph comes on and starts talking with some baseball guy. WTF? Change the station.... get where I'm going, do my business, get back in the car, turn the Score back on and Murph has another guest...talking MLB tv stuff.

So let me get this straight. Murph is having a "Tourney Remote" show today on the day of the tourney games, but he is talking BASEBALL.

And some wonder why so many people consider Murph a joke....

When Murph goes off air, we still have 4+ hours until tipoff.

He couldn't get off a thought or two on his alma matta?

In all fairness, Murph had the play-by-play man from SIU on at the beginning of the first hour. Coast, you were a victim of bad timing.
Although, I highly doubt you would have been satisfied if you heard the segment, just a guess.

Thanks Reason. That's good to know. Actually, I probably would have been satisfied with that. It was a "tourney remote" after all. It doesn't take much to satisfy me, really. I just think it's much more newsworthy and interesting to talk about one sport's playoffs rather than another sport's preseason.

Who cares about "tourney talk"? We didnt have any local teams in. Sorry SIU you are more of a St Louis team than a Chicago team. Would rather have Murph talk baseball than anything else anyway so should be no complaints since he is the best when it comes to talking baseball.
