Joe sounding like what it would sound like if Jake Peavy was defending Ozzie.

Lovin' Big Matty Lightnings continued assault on Cowley...holding this jerkoffs feet to the fire.

He is never going to be able to become Bruce Springsteen tonight with all of that energy he just expended.

That was fun glad I tuned in. Shoutout to everyone who brought this to my attention. Funny how the Danny Mac show is more entertaining without Danny Mac eh?

Do you guys think Speigs came off like a douche? Speigel demanded answers from Cowley but replies to Cowley's comments/accusations with "Yeah..." and "OK..."

The only reason I tuned in today was because Murph and Fred drove me away from AM1000 the second I heard Murph's voice. I anticipate the rest of this pairing to be too giggly and fast-talky.

Hee Hee

Yeah but you aren't wrong Spiegal is a smarmy asshole. But he is on the right side of the agrument here and Cowley's raving wasn't exactly endearing either. Two douchebags in an argument does make for entertaining radio.

There was a definite stench of arrogant sarcasm coming from him. He had determined he was the one in the right before they even started talking and his entire argument was from that closed minded perspective. I got the vibe that he was just trying to beat up on what he thought was an easy target...maybe to win some love from the listeners who already don't like Cowley.

I think Cowley wins only because Spiegs backed out. Maybe he had a commercial or some other segment and he felt the weirdness meter going off, but was a solid fight.

I think I won. This was some of the best listening since Bernstein exploded last year or when Larry turned heel on Tommy Williams.

Haugh has already been aquired.
Maybe Cowley tests free agency after Friday's "discussion" with Meat.

Maybe Kenny's on the phone, yelling at Mitch, next to call the newspaper...

I heard Levine mentioned during the tirade? What was Bruce brought up about?

I was out and about and heard the first segment of this bout. Great sports radio, I was
disappointed I had to take care of some business and leave the car. When I got back all
I heard was the Anchorman rejoin and I knew I missed a gem.

With apologies to ATHF fans, Spiegs acted like a Meat-wad.
Matt's choice to air his "feelings" Wednesday -- without Cowley on the other line -- was an ill-advised move. I figured Joe would hammer the whole "Act like a Man" angle.
Matt cannot be surprised that this "discussion" became personal. He lit the fire in Mrs. O'Leary's barn.
