I'm not totally old enough to remember what the Superjock said day in and day out, but I remember listening to him every day and loving it. Is Mike totally off base in his criticism of him that he "mailed it in three days a week?"

Wow, I think North has totally lost his mind. I tuned in for 10 minutes and was whining about paul agase again. North is just sad and pathetic now.

Mikey Two Times said the worst thing you can say about anyone is that they mailed it in. He said people may not like him for a number of reasons, but you can never, ever accuse North of mailing it in. OK? It's off limits. From now on, no one can ever accuse Mike of mailing it in. I'll try to remember that next time I hear a compelling 10 minutes of five team parlay.

Mike started mailing it before ink dried on his current contract. His show has been in a death spiral for years and he won't change a thing, why? Because he is a lazy dip shit, which would mean he is mailing it in.

this best thing about the show is the opening 10 minutes.

Today, during the intros he called Jen " a little dumpling"!! Bet she loves that description. Then he begins ripping management. Ah, you feel the love!!
Hey Rock, when are you going to play the new theme song for the show--
The soundtrack from the Titanic?

Jagbag of the Day: Larry Lujack for mailing it in at least 3 days a week.

I dont even know what to say, how in the hell can he say that with a straight face. Mike always talks about work ethic, but I wonder how many days a year Lujack broadcast from his home? Mike does it bcause he doesnt want to drive or get up early, but yet he isnt mailing it in? Dumb MotherF*****.

Quote:
“I Don’t Know” Mr. Soccer caught some crap from Mike for not knowing when Prior pitches next and what shoulder Toby Hall injured.

Well shouldnt the leader Mike know this stuff? Isnt it his show? I cant even think of a word to explain this guy. I wonder if the Score told him to just broadcast his show from home all the time and then just put someone else on, if he would even notice.

One example was a few fridays ago when Fred was off, we had 4 hours of Peggy K, Anne and Mike talking about everything but sports and he was bragging about it, is that earing your pay for that day or mailing it in?

Mike North is nothing more then garbage now and if he loses every dime he has stoled from the score and becomes homeless, if couldnt happen to a more deserving filthy excuse of a human.

Wait a minute, time to straighten out the Lujack facts here - during his Chicago radio years he NEVER broadcast from anywhere other than a WLS or WCFL or other radio studio. But in the 2000's, AFTER he retired & moved to New Mexico, he was then convinced that Chicago radio was dead & he should come back via a home studio. He's never stayed home & done a radio show while living & broadcasting in the same city. He might've "mailed it in" a few times by replaying some old Animal Stories bits with Tommy Edwards (or even Les Grobstein!) but he never stayed home while collecting millions of dollars like Score guys do.

Email I received said that it was Mike's choice to do his show from home. Tomorrow is the last one from Pappy Land and then back to city front plaza.

Amazing! At least he left the house to put it in the mail!

What blows my mind is that statements like this actually make me believe that North doesn't know what people think of him.

I'll back you up on that Nostradamus--and I worked with Larry from 1979 thru his last day at WLS in Aug 1987. Larry was ALWAYS in the studio,,he did'nt even have a line at home(I did,but only used it when I had to feed in tape or if I had to catch a flight from O'Hare since I live ten minutes from there).
Larry did go on some remotes such as to Disney World in Fla,but that's different since everyone does remotes.

You mean like replaying the "bookie priest" segment just an hour and 20 minutes later?

North needs to remember that folks can remember things from just a few hours earlier in his show if he wants to fling that type of stuff around.

Ditto. I caddied for Mr. Lujack at Crow Valley when I was a kid. What a nice man he was. He pretty much owned the town in those days. He is my father's age (would be 82) and, according to him, the best Bears quarterback for decades. Years later, I played golf with him a few times. According to a friend of mine, he still plays a decent game of golf. We all should wish for that at 82.
