Braves better hope the Phils don't let their guys throw more than a few innings. I'm guessing the Yanks will continue to rest alot of their guys against the Rays, so Red Sox might be fucked

I think the folks at FOX Sports, which carries the ALCS starting October 8th, would love to see a Red Sox/Yankees' rematch for a trip to the World Series.

As is, even if the Red Sox somehow backdoor their way into the playoffs, Terry Francona might be on borrowed time as manager in Boston. That's the word from Peter Gammons, one of the rotating analysts on NESN's postgame coverage of the Sox with Jim Rice & Dennis Eckersley, who tipped Francona's possible demise late last week on "The Dan Patrick Show".
