I could see not liking him if he were my teams annoucner...sometimes blaming the umps really rubs one the wrong way when the obvious problem is the players

But for me...I just turn on Hawk when im in the mood for some extremely exaggerated stories about the tools of players in the days of yore and Im satisfied.

The Sox are my favorite (baseball) team and he doesn't bother me, really. He is what he is. Never found myself getting upset with him during a broadcast. He's been doing this stuff for years. It's his schtick...

Im just saying I can understand if Hawk railing on the Umps because Dunn took a questionable third strike with bases loaded in the third inning would be annoying.

I must be a bad Sox fan this year, but I don't recall Hawk saying "Can of Corn" or "That's a Matt Abattacola" very much this year. Too much "Don't Stop Now Boys"....that's gotta stop....only Hawkism I can't stand.
