I hear what you are saying, but there have been plenty of "murderer's row" pitching staffs over the year that were somehow conquered in October...

...plus, the Cards won a World Series with serious contributions from Jeff Suppan and Jeff Weaver...having the aces doesn't mean they are necessarily going to win.
