Are you implying that former athletes get preferential treatment in sports radio/tv?
I'm shocked by this. I mean I thought Darrin Jackson, Joe Carter, Isiah Thomas, and Eric Dickerson all got jobs in the field based on their fine announcing ability.

Yeah. But Jurko wouldn't be Mac's friend if he never played in the NFL. Their paths would have never crossed.
