prune nothing. bigfan and I go back and forth with silly Sox banter a lot, but he is getting stupid with some of these things. I get that he has some knowledge in how Jerry works, but he is trying to suggest a bunch of crazy shit that just isn't there.

Jerry doesn't have to say a goddam thing. The manager was named and that was it. This weekend is a Jewish holiday, Jerry probably isn't even in the office today.

Then just the other day bigfan suggested that Jerry Reinsdorf was partly behind the Cindy Sandberg/Dave Martinez affair rumors because that would create bad publicity for the Cubs.

Yeah. That's it bigfan. Jerry Reinsdorf created some Lifetimesque rumor about the Cubs so that they would be look at poorly by people in the city and in the press.
The Cubs did a pretty good job of looking like shit all on their own thru most of the 80s and 90s.

Its his board so he can ban me or prune whatever he wants if he so desires. I mean its one thing to be a meatball and poke fun at the Cubs or the Sox. To post a bunch of crazy theories that have no basis whatever is parkridge312whistler territory. Or maybe just start another thread about the President Epstien party since that isn't true yet either.

I never suggested Jerry was behind the Martinez rumors. My suggestion was that if Martinez was truely being considered, that the Sandberg thing would be a check in his favor due to the urban legend ( t or f)

I think Jerry actual harbors a bit of resentment towards Kenny. Jerry's business side told him he had to get rid of Ozzie and keep Kenny, but his emotions/fan side wanted to keep Ozzie, thus firing Kenny. Remember, Ozzie was basically Jerry's hire.

Thus , this was going to be all Kenny. I am sure he still signed off on it and was willing to sign off on almost anyone.

If Ventura doesnt work it, then Kenny could be on the block really easy with Ventura.

I'm in complete agreement with TM. This White Sox thing is embarrassing as hell. If Kenny doesn't shut up and let sleeping dogs lie, Cowley could have the ammunition to sink Kenny once and for all. If Kenny isn't well liked within the organ-i-zation, people would be glad to fill Cowley's ears with plenty of inside information.

Kenny's ego will eventually ruin him. It's already ruined this team.

Talking with my guy this year, I said that Kenny reminded me of Danny Evans years ago but worse and he totally agreed. TM you have it on the head. The KW fan club has tons of seats empty inside the Sox hierarchy.

A ton of that is his unwillingness to talk to some major players in the Sox investment group about anything with the team.

While his enemy list grows, I don't think Jerry cares if Kenny doesnt make friends for that reason. One thing I know Jerry could do without in his life, many of his investors. It's weird watching the parade of peasants come in to kiss the ring.
