So far Conte's claim to fame is not blocking the kicker, who in turn pushed Devin Hester out of bounds a few week ago and stopped a TD. Oh,yeah,He's Italian,so he's got that going for him.

Luckily McNabb can not throw the ball over 10 yards anymore, so hopefully no one will notice this week.

if this is true it is not a smart move, i am taking the vikes on the money line, but i do not see the bears winning this game with those scrubs getting increased playing time.

I'm not sure it's a dumb move. With a bad hamstring Harris is not able to play at near his best and Merriweather has gotten beat from being out of position too many times. besides that, Major Wright is fine on run coverage and that represents Minnesota's top weapon (Petersen) I think everyone would agree on that.

As if the only resposibility of a safety is to pass protect...The bigger issue against a team like the Vikings is how they perform in run support. I have to believe that it's the coaches opinion that Wright and Conte will do a better job there.

So are these 2 ready to open field tackle AD once he breaks through the first 2 levels?

AD??? Is Adrian Dantley playing football these days for the Vikings?? I was not aware. But I think Lovie hopes he can stop Adrian Peterson.

I don't know if it was a gift horse I got married on (the 1st ceremony) in the desert out in Red Rock Canyon. But it was a fine steed and everything about that day was wonderful. I don't mind one bit when people bring up the ceremony because it just brings to mind good things. Wouldn't change a thing...
