Here's an interesting stat guys. Masset has equaled the innings of our first 3 starters combined.

Contrereas, Garland, Buehrle - 7.2

Masset - 7.2

Think about that. That has to be the first time a releiver has at least matched the innings of 3 consecutive starters in any given 3 game stretch of a baseball season.

Moreover, the kid looks pretty good.

Not to start fight, but how did he look in game one? Hope he does well, but if you are not ready to bury after one bad game, dont sing to much praise his way after one decent apperance.

I don't know about that. I'm saying one releiver beating 3 starters combined. I'll bet that's been done less then 5 times in the history of baseball. If that.

read my posts in the cub fourm, I want the cubs to just release them. I am not going to get sucked into cubs vs sox thing. I am just replying to a comment as a baseball fan.

so what? I have many sox fan friends andjust because we don't root for the same team, it doesn't mean we can't have opions of other teams. if you want to hate on the cubs go ahead, but I am not a sox hater its a a lot more fun being baseball fan. this whole cub vs sox crap is old, shallow minded and childish.
