Oh I am sorry Frank, you are right I really should check with you before I determine who I am cheering for in the playoffs.

 Really?

I hate the Yanks and the BoSox, but I would be pulling for them over an AL Central team. I woud never, NEVER root for the Twins or Indians in the WS. If it were Twins vs Cubs I might just leave the state from October thru Thanksgiving.

So you are saying RFDC should find a non NL central team to root for in the NLCS?

Go CARDS!!!!!!

Fuck Braun, fuck Brewer fans and theyre 30 year drought, and fuck Gallardo.

(Also, I win 140$ if the Cards win it all)

Game 5 of the ALCS is once again this afternoon between the Rangers/Tigers at 3:15p on FOX. After a 2 hour rain delay at the start, Game 4 ended up bumping "The X Factor" to tonight at 7p. FOX doesn't want to make Simon Cowell pissed...

Greinke hasnt been that great.

Garcia has a 1.93 E.R.A. against the Brewers

He also has a home E.R.A. of 2.55 vs 4.61 on the road.

TBS showed a graphic last night saying how the four starters have done in the NLCS...pretty sure one made it to five innings...

...if Garcia can get 5 innings and no more than 3 runs, I'm confident the bullpen can hold them to one run at most..have to be able to get 5 or more off of Grienke...especially with him on the road.

Greinke is due for one of those games where he looks like Cy Young. Hope it is not tonight.

Hard to do against the Cards at home though.

Well Randy Corgi went back to being Randy Wolf last night, so anything is possible...

It will really be something to do that against a lineup of Pujols, Berkman, Holliday

Those guys can MASH/Rome

Pujols, yes

Berkman, meh

Holliday, last night helps but he's looked pretty brutal at times this series.

Greinke (road: bad) and Garcia (home: stud) bodes well. Then again, it's the postseason so who knows. What I do know is that I'll be slapping the shit out of my couch tonight.

I havent followed em as closely as you obviously, but Berkman has had a real good year hasnt he?

When Holliday hit that homer yesterday it reminded me of DeRosa's in game one against the Dodgers. I figured they'd lose after that #ridiculouspostseasonconnectionswithnobasisiinreality

Oh yeah, Berkman has been really good this year...on par with Pujols during the regular season...but postseason, he hasn't really impressed me...

...hoping the Puma gives me reason to eat crow tonight.

Are the Brewers in secret negotiations to obtain Quade as a fielding coach? 3 errors in 6 innings? They are going out of their way to lose this series.

I loved that episode...Richman kept refering to him as a "legend"...he fucking bowed to him and said it was an honor to be in his presence...

...I guarantee 90 percent of Iowans wouldn't recognize him if he walked in the room.
