Los Angeles...or their version of it, anyways...it is...

Not a fan of the location...would have much rather seen something new, like D.C., or even Chicago.

I'm still waiting for a video game that allows you to drive on the highway system around chicago....can you imagine a Lower
Wacker high speed chase? The Lake Shore Drive chicane by The Drake? The storyline could be fantastic. West Side, North Side, South Side...it could so awesome. At least i think so.

I want a simulation based in Chicago so I can recreate my four hour drive around town trying to find a way to my fucking hotel...and then have my character sleep in his hotel room for three days...

 and yes Lipid, FA is right....

I'm sure I've talked about this before, but I lived over there in LeClaire Courts CHA Projects with my mom for a little while (they have since tore down all of the row houses.....that area will be a prime location now.) And the Sportsman Inn was a few blocks away.

One day, I was looking for a mailbox, and I was driving slow.....so once I found the mailbox, a lady that I had seen walking starts to walk towards me and says "Oh I thought you were flagging me down"....I said "Oh no, I was just looking for a mailbox"....

And then she says "You need a date?"

I said "No, I'm fine, thanks...."

This is a funny review:
http://www.yelp.com/biz/sportsmans-inn-motel-chicago-2

After driving so many miles away from NYC -we were tired and sleepy entering Chicago - we decided to stop at the first motel to rest our heads.
The first thing that made me so suspicious was the entire reception area was cordoned off with bullet proof glass..I told my husband I dont like this place ,Im not getting a good feeling- he said he's too tired to drive any further. She gave us the key to our room with a three flight walk up - It was a huge room and that was the only thing that I will say that was good -If you like ice cold shower as a wake up call then thats what you get in,no soap, towels were dingy and thread bare, There were no windows in the room just a huge piece of glazed glass. The highlight was the free hard core porn as soon as you switch the television on. I was just to disgusted to touch anything, or even take off my shoes. I just kept imagining some couple f$#%^ing endlessly in all different positions on all the possible places and furniture in the room. Spells HOOKER HAVEN

I loved the locations of GTA:SA, it made me hate how dull LC was in GTA 4. There was just so much variety it really felt like a world. I loved being able to hang out in that dumpy little trailer park when you're first kicked out of SA and racing along the dirt roads in the country, that doesn't even scratch the surface of all the Vegas, desert, and San Francisco locations either. I get for the first game on the new console they didn't want to bite off more than they could chew, but like I said, LC was just boring in comparison (oh boy, New Jersey). Even if 5 is just "LA," Hollywood, Malibu, ritzy suburbs, inner city, and downtown offer a pretty good opportunity for variety.

Can't wait to see it from some shady site when Rockstar's site gets hammered. Even more excited than usual because of how good RDR was.

Could be good. I'll probably never know though. I haven't even finished GTA IV... or san adreas for that matter... and vice city. I guess I was too busy running down hookers

The mountains and oilfields gave away that vast feeling... Now to see the in-game innovations. I was hoping for a different location, but that trailer felt like a much different los santos

I just want my trailer home outside Mt. Chiliad. Grove Street 4 Lyf!

Kinda looks like GTA: V for Vercetti.

If this game let's me run my car through a bunch of "Occupy San Andreas" protesters, I'm in.

I'm glad they implemented one of the biggest missing features from GTA 4, color.

This game is going to be badass. I just hope they release it before the end of the year.

Doesn't involve the new GTA, but this Back to the Future mod is absolutely incredible.

Info avalanche will be glorious but game for sure won't be out until Q1 of '13, which isn't that bad. Here's hoping there's no delays.

"When you include interior and exterior spaces together, Los Santos is bigger than the worlds of RDR, SA, and GTA IV combined, with room to spare"

Goodness gracious.

Well we both had 25 minutes to post it before we did, but I watched it a few times and was too busy to post.
