I know it is a stretch (Stretch...) but don't be surprised if you start hearing it as a viable new relocation for the Sox, as the Sox lease terms negotiations start. It is typical for large space users to start negotiating terms 3 years before an expiration date. I do not think they will move there, I am just telling you it might be mentioned, hinted, etc in hopes of some leverage.

Either way, would like to just see the state sell it to Jerry and The Sox. He can get a great deal and the state can recoup some of it's losses on this bad deal for the State of Illinois.

I have this feeling that if Jerry buys it, all of a sudden all those concerts and other stuff that was going to happen there for the last 20 years that didnt, would suddenly start again.

While I dont think you NEED to have played at a major level to have a good Manager/coach, but I think it helps a ton that he played in college. You know who is really good when you are the field!

If there is one baseball team likely to move outside of Chicago city limits, its most certainly the Cubs. The likely hood of them moving to the burbs for a new stadium is much more than the Sox moving to Vegas.
