First-guessing: everyone knew holland should've come in. That was a HUUUUGE pick off by the series MVP.

What a idiot, even if he was safe you can't make it that close. The mistakes continue.

Is there an opposite of MVP award? Holliday has it cinched up.

Im not sure how long Holland could have gone though. I dont think it was gonna be him if the switch was made then.

Great play by Napoli, great play by Beltre, HISTORICALLY HORRID baserunning by Holliday.

John Jay may be the worst hitter that I have ever seen.

Back to back jacks.

Beltre and Cruz.

6-4 Rangers.

Is it possible for FavreFan to get more drinky?

Those home runs are going to happen with a lineup like this. You. Can't. Fucking. Give. Them. Five. Outs. In. Two. Separate. Innings. Fucking Freese and Holliday.

No, he was just posting in the Packers thread and questioning RPB on a baseball move, he doesn't even know what thread he is in.

Adrian Beltre is the best player in baseball

That looks crazy right? Its not. I think he may have had the highest WAR last year. Dude is fucking sick with the glove, hits for power...its a damn shame what he did to Seattle though.

Texas is Cruzing now.

On and no sympathy for the old lady ranger fan that died this morning and just wanted to see a title. I mean normal condolonces but sorry you just dont come close to the years waiting needed for me to care about the baseball fandom part of your story

RIP

If only Buck would go into a Harrelsonesque silence when things start going bad for the Cardinals like they are now it would be a much more enjoyable telecast.

Texas is finally hitting like they should be. The Cards made this series about as close as they could have.

It sounds crazy because it is crazy. CRAZY. Justin Verlander is most likely the best player in baseball but Beltre is not in the dosussion. He's probably not the best Ranger.

No its really not. The combination of his gold glove defense and offense make him the best all around player. He was the 6th best overall last year according to WAR. Im not saying thats a perfect stat but he's clearly in the discussion.

Pitchers can not be the best players in baseball.

I think you know more baseball than I do but I also think you've never been more wrong here. You can't tell me anybody in baseball was better than Pedro in '99. Similarly, I also don't think you can tell me Beltre is the best baseball player in the country right now.

Theo let Beltre walk just to make room for his man-crush Gonzalez.

Well its not like Gonzalez is some fucking 2 bit hack. Given how bad Beltre sucked in Seattle after getting paid last time it wasnt a bad move.

The pitcher thing is just an opinion. I keep them separate. Especially starters who can at best affect 35 games.

Im exaggerating a little on Beltre maybe but he is a top 10 player all around. Its crazy how bad he was in Seattle.

Hussra, Gonzalez was ok. How bout the Red Sox just plugging in a different all star at third every year. Lowell, Beltre, Youkalis

Its time to get mentally prepared for the onslaught of bad "Ron Washington is gonna do so much blow tonight" jokes.

BTW, if he's not on Cocaine during the games when he's doing all those dances and nervous ticks he must be bouncing off the fucking walls when he was.

LOL. My wife is sitting in her chair, eating popcorn and clicking around on Facebook, and
the first thing she said was "That guy already sang it". I guess she does pay attention.....

Beltre's 2010 season, played 3B for Boston and led the league in WAR (if RPB is to be believed). Would think that might've counted for something in Carmine's analysis.

Maybe he found a new stash? He's been all over my PED radar for years.
