At the beginning of the show, Fred says that Chris Carpenter has been placed on the DL. Mike starts cheering, all happy about the news. Annie chimes in, and says, "C'mon, he was one of our own!"....Mike, slightly puzzled, says, "Who?", and Annie says "Chris Singleton."

Mike just plays it off as being early in the morning, and says "He still is!", and they moved on...

What a daily embarrassment to that show.

I almost listen now not for the sports talk, but for what stupid thing she may say.
