Sure would be interesting if he was allowed to buy the Dodgers, but not the Cubs?

Feel free to create your explanations as to why this could happen?

i hope and believe mark cuban buys the dodgers..i like cuban and think he will be successful...the main reason cuban got fucked out of the cubs was jerry reinsdorph and george steinbrenner...steinbrenner is dead now and i doubt reinsdorph cares if cuban is in l.a....but jerry knew he would have to spend more money if cuban was spending 200 million with the cubs every year

Cuban set the limit at $1 billion. I believe the Dodgers went on the market at $800 million, so Cuban is in the running.

Why would you say this? This would never happen?

You really think Reinsdorf would not allow MLB to sell the Cubs to Cuban, seems far fetched?

Really surprised to hear all this, because some might say that you created this myth because you are anti White Sox?

I would not be one of those people, but I know a few who might say that you are just all anti Sox with this kind of claim.

It doesn't matter what the Dodgers end up going for, but it'll be over "Commissioner" Allan H. Selig's dead body before MLB owners ever approve Mark Cuban as one of their own. What he's done with the new NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks is very impressive, but I think a red flag as far as MLB owners are concerned is if Cuban badmouths MLB umpires on shows like "The Dan Patrick Show", "Mike & Mike in the Morning" and other sports radio outlets much like he's done with NBA officials over the years.

Besides, I heard something yesterday that the current mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, doesn't want an outside guy buying the Dodgers.

They're not concerned about what he would say about umpires on Mike and Mike. The issue is that they fear he would disrupt their old boys club and not bow to their commander in chief.

In plain English, NSJ, Mark Cuban would rub people the wrong way if MLB ever approved him as owner of the Dodgers or any other team. He's never going to be an MLB owner, at least until Bud Selig is out of office as "Commissioner".
