I don't mind Jill Carlson. She did a pretty solid job hosting The Final Word, especially compared to that inexplicably self-satisfied lummox, Lou Canellis. Is it possible to simultaneously be both oily and dessicated? If so, Canellis has achieved said feat.

There were some great pics floating around the net of Sweet Lou and his gang of 50ish year old buddies clubbing it with their umm nieces.

I crack up everytime I see someone dress that age inappropriate.

I'm not sure she's a full-timer again, but Jill Carlson's been on CBS2 News due in large part to the fact that Megan Mawicke is expecting if you know what I mean.

Not to change the subject, but FOX32's Anna Davlantes is also expecting... :wink:

You are correct, Vince. Why FOX32 decided not to renew Jill's contract a while back is kinda puzzling. One would think once Corey McPherrin made the switch from sports to hard news as one of the morning anchors of "Good Day Chicago", Jill would be in line to move up FOX's depth chart after many years on the weekends. News Director Carol Fowler didn't see it that way, and Jill was one of many anchors & reporters shown the door at 205 N. Michigan within the last several months.
