There's been at least three loud sounds emanating from the show site. Doug has reacted each time. Doug that it was a Philly fan that was interupting the show.
Strange.
I wonder what the hell is going on?

Kind of a long commercial break -- sorry to be so Beardown-y about this.

I normally don't like the show after a win -- but Doug is freakin' hilarious tonight. He is so geeked up.

wow... they're happy! they're waving the pom poms!

i'm with them tho... what can you bitch about other than roy will's huge drop on a big gain? cutler didn't get sacked. i didn't say it throughout the game but OH MY FUCKING LORD JAY CUTLER DIDN'T GET SACKED.

he made most of the throws he needed to make... some damn good ones. that fall down get up shovel out to forte play was great... so was the next shovel to devin on what ended up being the game-winning-drive... i mean, wow!

and as one might expect, ESPN is all talking about vick on sportscenter... all-vick all the time go to vick's presser first hardcore analysis of vick... and now it's like "....oh yeah and here's jay cutler"

so where are the cutler haters today? he got rid of the ball.... most of the time, we'll say 80% of the time, he looked like a damn franchise quarterback. he had a few bum throws and overall meh series (how about at the end having his elbow hit the back of a lineman so he released a wounded duck on third-and-goal, cementing a 30-24 lead and the nailbiting finale... and speaking of, WTF was that last pass by vick?!! lol! no hail mary? it worked for michigan state!)

ah well, great game... ob and doug are happy. i'm happy... ESPN is only barely acknowledging cutler now... and man, if we only had some real wide receivers and maybe a real safety or two and some even-just slightly better line play, i'd be real excited about this team.

earl bennett made an impact coming back tho... martz called him mr. third down... i concur. what did he have like three or four big ~15-30 yard catches on third downs? 5/95 for him.... but man, roy will's drop kills me. he made up for it later.

trent dilfer pointed out something too.... jay cutler makes "trust throws" to the earl of bennett... you know, throws when the receiver isn't open or even yet to break to a certain area, cuz he knows earl will get there.

watching aa-rod yesterday, he does that all the time. it's nice to see jay be able to do it.

now just imagine and dream if we had like, one or two bonafide big-time WRs and THEN we had earl as our guy.... man that'd be pimp. then again. shit, what is brady working with other than a couple'a nice tight-ends, the ghost of ochocinco, and then his blankey wes welker?

and giselle of course =D

Wow! Some thoughtful analysis from caller Matt.
Almost fell out of my seat on that one.

Makes you wonder if Hub was actually right, that the lockout hurt the Bears tremendously in getting the reshuffled O-Line ready to go. They looked quite different tonight after two weeks of work.

Lance Louis is actually playing like a bitch (in a good way).

Stop hatin Dr. Ken.... like ESPN pointed out time and time again after the break, they were covering the EAGLES LOSS......and the Bears win. The Eagles are sexy... the Eagles are NOW (i was so disappointed when ESPN's big giant "who's now" tournament was a one-off endeavor. I need 3 of those a year so I know who I should care about)

That 9-wide defense was amazing and awesome and if it didn't work it's because the Eagles messed up, not because the Bears are any good. Like Trent Dilfer told me... Jay has been taking steps and improving..... at being Jay. No matter how much he improves, he's always going to be Jay Cutler so he's always going to be a pussy who sucks at quarterbacking. If only he had the mechanics, resolve, leadership, and toughness of Trent Dilfer... why he might actually evolve at being a real quarterback someday and not just....... a jay.

Lance Louis is developing into a really good offensive lineman

Their commercial breaks make me turn it off. It is amazing. Right after the games, Doug talks for a few minutes, then the go to like 15 minutes in commercials.

Is there something about Conte you are not liking?

His play is not like Al Afalava where there were obvious holes. Conte seems solid in both run and pass defense, he's athletic and he seems to have good football intelligence.
