Jon Bon Jovi's Arena Football team apparently gave up a questionable TD late in their game on ESPN2. They cut to Jon in the owner's booth just after, and broadcast his reaction to the ref's call:

I doubt they'll get anything since no one watches ESPN2 anyway.

I'm sure Arena League will fine him, and ESPN2 will have to broadcast everything "live" on a 10 second delay.

If you mean will they get fined by the fcc, no b/c cable networks are not under fcc jurisdiction.

Correct Psycory. The FCC wants jurisdiction of cable and satellite radio pretty badly. That would be downright scary of the FCC eventually gets its way.

My main line of research looks at profanity and this topic was one of the scariest ideas to come along post nipple. I'd be interested to see cable's reaction if the fcc tries to play hardball on the topic, b/c for the most part they toe the line to be nice...except after 10:00 eastern, would they cave or stick a middle finger up at the FCC.

My heart wishes they would fight, but I know they would wuss out and do what the FCC asks.
