It doesn't. It also pisses on their chances of sweeping the rest of their schedule. I guess you gotta take the bitter with the sweet.

Wasn't he demoted in favor of Martz's new guy from south western idaho tech?

Good news is the schedule is weak enough that the Bears should win most of these games even without Cutler. Getting him back for the playoffs is the most important thing. No need for him to pull a Favre to prove how tough he is.

Come on. You serious? The opposing defense keys on the run vs. Caleb Hanie..........things just got ugly.

I read in McClure's story that he broke it and still threw the ball well. Maybe he'll give a lot of handoffs next week? Hopefully it's not a serious break.

These opposing defenses aren't that good. Hanie is Collins. It won't be that bad.

Won't this fuck things up beyond just having a backup in? Cutler got to run the offense in a way that is more conducive to him succeeding with the players he has to work with. Won't Martz return to full on Martz offense with the backup? Then when or if he gets back he will have to fight like mad to get Martz to alter things back to how they were the last 4-5 weeks?

Who knows. Considering he was still able to play with it it may not be that bad.

On the INT return when he was trying to make a tackle.

He was shaking it in 3rd Qtr. Before the interception actually.

They said it was on a late int when he was blocked to the ground and that he completed 2 passes after breaking it.

Have they mentioned if it was his scaphoid bone? That is what you do not want to hear btw.

so i go to the game and have this amazing WOOOOHA emotional experience.

then i come home and find out my flagship fantasy team petered out and is likely done for the season. then i find out my bears are likely done for the season.

i'm going to see them play KC in two weeks... hanie versus... whoever the backup is there.

how long before someone suggests we get favre to save our season? oh wait i should do it
