This could be some shit!!!!!!

Have said for years Arizona is one of the great untapped schools for football. Great campus, hot chicks, awesome place.

There is a reason for 25 years they went to the NCAA Tourney with GREAT BBall teams.

True the place is not conducive to school, but for football who cares.

I see this being REALLY fun to watch!

Sure you are not thinking of ASU? Arizona is in Tucson and has shitty facilities/stadium.

I went there when Iowa played them last year. Shitty town and shitty stadium. I haven't been to ASU but I thought their reputation for that stuff was better.

Went to School there for 2 years. There is no doubt the stadium needs an upgrade, but they have the money, the land and the aloomni willing to spend it. Just show them a winning product.

Lute Olson came into a program of nothing and had one of the best runs any school has had over a 25 year period. The backing behind the BBall program is unlimited now.

As far as the town goes, it has it's issues, but the campus area is tremendous. Just the best party school in the nation due to the weather, the way everyones apartment complex has a pool and the hot chicks. Drugs never hurt either.

ASU, is part of a major city. While their are College bars in PHX, those bars bring in people, in the city as well. In Tucson, college bars are college kids "DIRTBAGS" as example.

The point being that Rich Rod puts that old West Virgina, Slaton, White, etc spread offense on the field and starts putting up big numbers they will attract the speed talent he wants.

Problem is USC comes of probation next year and they are loaded already!

USC is in a shitty part of town!

If he gets the quarterback he likes, he can make a go of it in Arizona, it's a place that has had some great players and you can win there.

You know what really helps recruiting!

Image

These three would be the hottest girls at most Big 10 schools
Image

2009 Playboy ranked AZ as #5 party school.

"In addition to bars and clubs, large parties are held at fraternities, residential houses in surrounding neighborhoods, and at large apartment complexes with mutliple pool systems."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdSKqF_eaoc&feature=player_embedded#!

There is a reason why Lute Olson left Iowa came to Tucson and developed a top 5 program in hoops from basically nothing.

Will all the drugs, parties and hot chicks make a good football team. Of course not, but it sure helps if you know how to provide the other stuff, because everyone can get pencil money!

I was enrolled at the U of I! I knew who my roomie was going to be etc. Took a 4 day trip to U of A during my senior year of college and BAM! This is where I am going! Did I choose the school for all the wrong reason, HELL YES, but thats what a horny partying 17 year old male does and to think that football players think much different is foolish.

I see Rich Rod making a big splash, now, will he sink, maybe, but it will be big!

Let me just add one more time, that this is student housing!

He's gonna get a stud west coast hybrid qb... This will be fun to watch... As much as espn helped ride him out of ann arbor, they clamor to get his offenses on tv... Rich rod is good for ratings...

The thing about az is they already have a defensive mindset... I see good things...

What's a defensive mindset... do you mean that's how they were coached? Or do you just mean they have a decent defense? I think if you hire Rich, he's gonna put his guys in the coordinator spots.

So RichRod couldn't win at Michigan but somehow he's going to do really well at Arizona?

I predict they are a middle of the pack team that can score pretty well.

If you can't win at Michigan you are not a great coach.

Rich Rod made West Virginia a winner, and one year should have got them to the title game, just lost to Pitt at home.

Since both Arizona schools were compared, Arizona got a new coach and Arizona State may also be getting a new coach also, there were reports on Sunday Erickson was out, either on his own or fired.

I don't really think that is true. I think there are a lot of variables that come with being the head coach at Michigan that contributed to him not being a success there. I think he can still be a real good coach at the right spot. Michigan clearly was not it, but a place like Arizona could be.

classic big 10/12/14/BTN thinking. Win the BIG 10, then get an SEC ass kicking!

Think this is a really great hire for Arizona. It's an atmosphere that is begging for success and will welcome any changes he makes with open arms. He also will have none of that Michigan Man bullshit to deal with.

What does the SEC have to do with anything?
