What you don't like listening to Mac and Speegs sing gay songs about Marian Hossa?

Parody songs in general are awful. Weird Al should be the only one ever allowed to do a parody song. No one else....ever.

Listeners are able to call into the 1000's voicemail line with christmas parody songs.

For example, the best one may be some lady singing "Have a Hairy Matty Leinart" to the tune of "Have a Very Merry Christmas".

Between the parody songs and the McNabb talk this has been a really bad show today.

Yeah there's 2 that made me laugh....the Hairy Matty Leinart song and the Jay Cutler "Um You know, No" song....everything else is just bad.

I don't hate these like you guys do but wouldn't want this to be a daily thing like with Mac and Speigel either. That said I loved the ya know one and sang it when I heard the song in jewel today.

To me, it's always been funnier when the listeners submit theirs. Lots of creativity in the one's I heard. I for one thought that the one ripping Waddle was the best one....a bit siniesque if ya ask me though.

After I heard this I flipped to Mac & Spiegs doing the Dwayne Bowe connection....well done and well sung, but, snore zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... :|

I didn't think most of the finalists were all that bad, but I remember a much more polished effort from W-Z a few years ago, I think with Mac/Jurko/Harry. I envy the creativity, and enjoy the shots at the hosts.

thanks, k.

i will say this - i give these callers credit because it is pretty hard to sing acapello. but it probably would've been better production value wise for letting them submit .mp3's or something with music accompaniment, at least for the listeners of the show's sake.

dead on there, Z dub. singing into a phone on voicemail surely didn't help, and with the recording capabilities of the common smartphone, there would seem to be a better way..

almost like it all came together kinda quickly, which may well be the case, but is weak for a market as big as Chicago from the four letter network.

I believe that they prefer to dumb it down to give people with zero musical ability the chance to participate.
