Did Scott just center the puck in his own fucking end?

Sharpie with a Hat Trick today.

Pretty cool to see. What a comeback!

Excellent win, but this team gives up a fuckton of goals. Gotta be worst in the league by the end of the night.

Incidentally, an overtime loss in LA and my 2-3-1 prediction is on the money. I'd prefer a 3-3 split and being wrong, though. This no-fuck-giving defense/goaltending has gotta stop, or Mike Richards will singlehandedly eat this team alive. Good lord, who trades Mike Richards? If the Flyers had kept him, they'd be a prohibitive favorite to win the East.

Hawks usually do well against the Kings, tonight won't be any different...

I was gonna start two new threads about this, but I'll try my best in this existing thread.

1. Pat Foley's comment about the chick singing the anthem was  "It's not all about you, honey".
2. Why doesn"t Dan Roan shave his entire head? That stuff on top looks terrible.

Kings look good, but not great. I'm surprised they're starting so slow; more than a few people had them finishing first in the West.

EDIT: Should've done it yourself, Kaner.

EDIT2: was that...Cartman?

They really need to pull the plug on Stalberg. He's not the finisher that needs to playing with Kane. Put his underachieving ass on the 4th line where it belongs.

Wow, frantic finish - couple great saves by Crawford. Hawks win!

More importantly - Kings lose!

Between Bickell, Brunette, and Stalberg, we're running out of guys to demote to the fourth line. At this rate, Sami Lepisto is going to get his shot to play in the top six.

All that fire power and they can't even scrap together 2 goals most nights... somethings gonna have to change... and the worst part about it is that his majesty, the hockey god himself, predicted this prior to the season... I hate it when Stinks the crow right...

True but they're doing Kane a disservice and wasting a lot of gorgeous set ups by pairing him with players who can't put the puck in the net. Fucking Stalberg not only didn't finish a 2 on 0, he didn't even hit the net. I guess Sharp would be the right person but do you move him away from Toews?

I'd say it was a bad trip with a decent finish. Maybe you missed the first couple games where they got the everloving shit kicked out of them.

Stalberg wasn't playing with Kane yesterday or any day of recent vintage. Stalberg was with Toews and Sharp to start the game while Kane was with Hossa and Frolik. Towards the end I think I remember Hossa and Sharp switching places. Stalberg and Kane ended up on the ice together for that 2-0, but they were never linemates.

Well, there are four legitimate players in our top six: Toews, Kane, Hossa, Sharp, and then two guest stars. You have to split them 2 and 2 or one guy is going to be out there with bums.

Highlight of the trip:

Pat Foley: Really honey, it's not all about you. I can't wait to get home and see Jim Cornelison.
