In Oregon... Friday 12/2/11... 7pm FoX...

Should be a yawner of a game... Ducks offense is arguably the best in the nation...

He's probably in Hawaii.

Get an Oregon win here and we should get a good Rose Bowl with Wisconsin/Michigan State winner.

UCLA lost 50-0 to USC. Shit's going to get ugly in Autzen. Ducks might hang 70 on them. Why is the PAC-12 allowing the better team to host the title game? Should be at a neutral site like Univ of Phoenix stadium that hosted Super Bowl. MAC used to let the team with the better record host as well for a few years. Want to say first SEC title game was in Birmingham when Bama beat the Gators.

As far as I know, Zizou, Atlanta's Georgia Dome has always hosted the SEC Championship Game and will do again Saturday afternoon for LSU/Georgia at 3p on CBS2 with Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson & Tracy Wolfson providing the descriptions.

The MAC Championship Game takes place at Ford Field in Detroit Friday night at 6p on ESPN2 and on 670 The SCORE via the NIU/IMG Sports Network as the Huskies face Ohio.

The inaugural Big Ten Championship between Wisconsin & Michigan State takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Saturday night on FOX at 7p. The home of the NFL Colts also hosts Super Bowl XLVI in February on NBC.

As far as the Pac-12 Title Game goes, also the inaugural, I don't understand why the game is basically a home game for Oregon Friday night vs. UCLA when it should be held at a neutral site. Also, I don't understand why UCLA will allow Rick Neuheisel to coach Friday night but won't allow him to coach UCLA's likely bowl game, based on what Rick told Dan Patrick today. It's not only awkward, but I thought once you were fired, that's it...

Actually, SHARK, Birmingham's Legion Field was the host site of the first 2 SEC Championship games. Both matchups involved the Florida Gators from the East and the Alabama Crimson Tide from the West. Gene Stallings' Crimson Tide won the inaugural matchup 28-21 while Steve Spurrier's Gators won the second game 28-13.

Oregon should get this one easily, if Lamichael James plays, reason for Oregon to blow out early and rest James.

Thanks for that, SJ. As a matter of fact, ESPNU, DIRECTV 208, actually replayed the 1992 SEC Championship game late last night from Birmingham, AL's Legion Field that originally aired on ABC with the legendary Keith Jackson and the not-so legendary Bob Griese providing the descriptions.

Bruins made a better showing than I would have expected. I'd like to see the Ducks' offense go up against the Spartan D in the Rose Bowl.
