A strong paranoid obsession is coming through in this thread, mixed in with a little inferiority complex. Loud and clear.

Good, that's the first step to getting help!

It is impossible to be the crazy one in a thread JBills posts in.

If only there would have ever been a way that I could have gone to NIU instead and maybe I wouldn't be so obsessed with them. The feelings of inferiority are just something I'll have to endure.

That's a great point in a thread that is discussing football teams. Again, not helping your cause.....

Why would I be jealous of NIU's football team? That may be the issue. I don't understand how you could ever think that a fan of a Big Ten school could be obsessed with a MAC school. Outside of the first few weeks they aren't really thought of at all. I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm just saying that's the reality. That's why your obsession comment is so funny because I'm clueless on the MAC this year.

Oh, it's time for the annual "spanky says dumb things that he can't back up about college football" thread?

That's cool. Good luck in the MAC championship.

I (and the tradition of the Old Oaken Bucket) would like to thank all of you who helped make this thread a win for everyone.

From the Fantasy Football league, I did learn that the MAC runs up scores like an arena football league. There's a guy throwing for 6 touchdowns every week.

They also don't give out good injury reports for degenerate gamblers and it cost me a Championship.

Did you hear that Gunner is supposedly visiting Purdue?

That would certainly add something to the rivalry but I doubt anything comes of it more than that. If Gunner is telling the truth that he didn't want to go to a place with another QB coming in then Purdue isn't going to work. That option may be gone though at all schools.

The only thing I didn't like was how half the teams seemed to play before Friday. My team wasn't that good anyways but I got screwed a few times by trying to set my lineup on Thursday and 3 of my players had already went while on my bench.

Maybe his high school coach wore a whistle in games too?

I doubt he attends a school in Indiana unless maybe ND.

It's clear you don't get it. You don't just stick up for your team. You go out of your way to bash the Big Ten. Just own it and accept it. It's fine. You aren't the first person who likes a MAC school that has a chip on his shoulder about the Big Ten.

I think you don't get it. The NIU and MAC bashing is the reason i bash back. I'm pretty sure i originally signed up for this site three years ago because that's what i saw happening.

That's a very noble cause. Good luck.

This is your biggest problem. Connotations limit your mind from true expansion... Why do you try so hard to fill the role of the guy f/ Purdue who can't lose an argument? Its ok to be wrong Brick. Suck on some humbleness once in a while. This desperation is amusing to me more than anything...

Gotta go. Im gonna hit up my gun toting weed dealer for his drugs.

It's because I'm obsessed with more than just NIU.

Yeah, it's disappointing how things worked out which caused them to fall. I guess the answer is to win more games and then you don't have to worry about it.

Could have been worse, at least Purdue was picked by someone. Illinois was the odd man out that nobody wanted so they just stuck them in a game against another team nobody wanted.
