The Rangers have signed reliever Joe Nathan. It's a two-year deal with a club option for 2014.

I guess this means the Rangers are going to try Feliz in the rotation again. Nathan (37) didn't have a very good year last year coming of Tommy John surgery and it's a little suprising the Rangers didn't go for more reliable bet like Heath Bell or Ryan Madson.

Nathan was an unranked free agent and will not cost the Rangers a darft pick.

The Padres have traded pitcher Wade LeBlanc to the Marlins for catcher John Baker. Not much to see here.

"Episodes" trading Matt LeBlanc to "The Cleaner" for Joe Don Baker would be more interesting...

The Royals agreed to sign Bruce Chen to a 2yr/$9M contract.

There's 5 losses for the Sox next year.

The Angels have traded for catcher Chris Iannetta from the Rockies for starting pitcher Tyler Chatwood.

Interesting first move for Jerry Dipoto. Ianetta has been a bit of a disappointment in Colorado but he upgrades the position for the Angels and he's still only 28 years old. He's also pretty good behind the plate and should help an already very good Angels rotation. Chatwood got knocked around in the bigs this year but he's only 21 and was pretty good in the minors. He has plenty of time to develop into a middle of the rotation type starter.

"Baseball Wives" -- a new show debuting tonight on VH1 -- is in meltdown mode, because one of the women is so out of control, she's threatening other BB wives with a 12-inch dildo.

During a recent filming, Anna Benson -- the wife of former Mets pitcher Kris Benson -- got into it with Cheri Knoblauch -- wife of former Yankee second baseman Chuck Knoblauch. Anna got creative, pulled out a stun gun and set it on a table in front of her in a threatening manner, then produced a 12-inch dildo from her purse and started swinging ... which raises the question, Why such a big purse?

Sources connected with the show tell TMZ ... some of the staffers are now threatening to quit, because they can't handle Anna's insane behavior.

Sources tell us ... show execs are trying to contain Anna.

Nice to know she carries a stun gun and a dildo with her at all times -- probably for when Kris gets out of hand.

The Marlins have agreed to terms with free agent closer Heath Bell on a three-year, $27MM contract, reports ESPN's Jayson Stark. The deal contains a vesting option for a fourth year and is pending Bell passing a physical on Friday.

Jose Reyes is on the verge of signing a six-year deal worth around $110 million to join the Marlins, according to FoxSports.com's Ken Rosenthal.

That's a hell of a lot of money for him. Adding all these pieces at once usually doesn't end well. I can see the Marlins having a Philadelphia Eagles-like crash and burn next season.

Pretty sure there's no way they could afford to do this AND sign Pujols, no?

You wouldn't think so but Jeffrey Loria is a nut job so who knows what he's going to do. They could trade Hanley to free up some more money.

The Marlins and Jose Reyes have agreed to a 6 yr/$106M contract. The contract does not include a no-trade clause.

They probably paid a little more for not including the no-trade. The Marlins have to cover their ass for when this whole thing goes south.

The Nationals are the previously unidentified team that's offered C.J. Wilson a six-year contract.

Mike Rizzo is trying to make people forget the awful contract he gave to JaYson Werth last off season by giving an even worse contract to CJ Wilson this off season. It's unbelievable to think that guy is getting a 6 year offer.

I guess that huge Werth money has made his wife forget this story:
The Phillies are deciding whether or not to resign free agent outfielder Jayson Werth..and according to my Phillies Locker Room insider, they might pass on Werth for very good reason..Here’s what my source tells me.”Chase Utley’s somewhat diminished production at the plate this year is due in part to the fact that Jayson Werth was/did/has been banging Chase’s wife, Jen. A friend who has a connection to Shane Victorino heard that while hanging with some guys close to the team in Cincy during the playoffs.. Jayson Werth (and his family) used to hang with Chase and Jen at their condo pretty frequently, but he hasn’t been seen there recently.” Wow..that could definitely hurt a man’s confidence at the plate..Chase is definitely not the monster he was once..but that’s just wrong..Teammates should never cross that line..-TO

It has been said about Colorado weather, if you don't like it, wait 15 minutes. The same applies to baseball's hot stove. Trade talks, to the say the least, are fluid situations. While the Rockies have explored trading third baseman Ian Stewart, a source said today that the Rockies still think highly enough of Stewart that they would not consider a deal for the Cubs' Blake Dewitt. The Cubs have interest in Stewart, and made DeWitt available. Colorado is seeking more in return than a utilityman, preferring someone along the lines of outfielder Tyler Colvin, or a minor-league pitching prospect. Stewart, 26, is an interesting case because of his past and potential. Industry insiders have"
