Said all along the way Angelo handled Forte was great from a business standpoint. Didn't want to see Forte get hurt by any means but dude would've been set for life if he accepted the Bears offer and would have some security right now instead of wondering if his knee is going to blow out. Now its a question IF he'll get paid rather than when.

Angelo is only in trouble if he costs the Bears money or is directly attributable to a decline in ticket sales. That's the only thing that matters to the McCaskeys. Or their cousins, the McClaskeys. Same for Lovie.

Winning super bowls just cost them money; you do it just enough to keep ticket sales going. Consider it an "investment", as opposed to a "goal."

That being said, didn't watch the game. How bad was Hanie and how did Orton do? For 10 pts, I have to imagine, "not that well," but I don't know the Chiefs' talent level.
