You're not suggesting that Urlacher is some kind of borderline Hall of Fame guy, are you jimmy? He's an automatic no-brainer. And I agree with whoever it was that said he's been better than Singletary. See, I don't always prefer the old guy.

But neither of them were as good as Joe Cain

If Hardy Nickerson had called in to Joe Cain's overnight show I'm certain that it would be Asshat Rhodes' ringtone.

Joe Cain's show was the greatest in Score history.

Well sure. Cain was riding motorcycles all over the place and hanging beer cans on his Christmas tree with dear old dad.

The last time Rhodes was on it was the monday after the Paterno thing came out and he was screaming, literally, for Paterno to be fired and that it was a HUGE scandal.

He got that one right.

The Urlacher argument he's making is dumb. It would have been at least a valid thought about 4 years ago, when 54 was seemingly fading and got injured.

Really stupid take. Even if trying to bait callers, there are better ways.

Maybe if he wasnt in fucking rehab, the offense could have been decent and Mack wouldnt have been out there to have his career ended by the shaded running back.

Or maybe if Lattimer wasn't suspended for being a roid monster.

Urlacher is a big play machine BUT about 4 years or so ago,he got his ass handed to him by the Vikings FB and Detroits FB on a regular basis. He was getting blocked all over the place. He still is a lousy blitzer and seems to "slow up" when a body is in front of him. I wasn't a big fan of "crazy eyes" Singletary either. Samurai was a great tackler but overall Brian is a way better LB.

Don't forget, he spent a big portion of that time nursing some nagging injuries, including a serious back problem. He wasn't healthy.

OKC,Thanks,I forgot about his back problems. He is a man that does not complain. The last two years he looks pretty damn good. Always seems to be around the football.

I caught just a little of Dustin's efforts on the show over the last few days and I was left just scratching my head. I understand the idea of being contrarian or saying something that will elicit a response and I think he did that with his Urlacher comments. The problem is, as stated by some here on the board, those comments were not substantiated by any facts and seemed to be thrown out there just to get a reaction. Anyone should have been able to see through that and realized the idiocy of the comments which even left Mully wondering "how did they put him in the chair next to me?"

If that wasn't bad enough, the following day I heard him ask Brad Biggs an "interesting" question. After a big build-up about the loss of Carimi and who might move where on the line and the obligatory "I haven't heard anyone bring this up", Dustin asked Brad if the Bears have thought about bringing Olin Kreutz back. Brad's immediate response, "He's retired." So as to not make the host look like a fool, in my opinion, Brad did eventually follow-up by saying that Olin's people told him that he's retired.

I just read where Dustin helped co-authored a book about sports radio talk show hosts. It didn't sound to me like he picked up any tips that he could use when he got behind the mic.

Wow, really? That sounds about like a Single A baseball player co-authoring a book about the life of a major league baseball player.

He doesn't fit the "cookie cutter" mold,so let's rip him. I (of course) enjoy the meatball being added to the sauce!

That's not it at all Jimmy. I think the people in this thread have clearly pointed out why they're ripping him.

Ugh, I can't stand when callers do that, let alone a host.

If the Broncos win the AFC West, shouldn't Tim Tebow be in consideration for MVP?

You know your idea is dumb when both Mully and Hanley laugh you off without consideration.

What if they win out?

Everything seems crazy with Tebow until it happens.

I fully expect him to cure cancer in the off season

What if they do? Its gotta be Rogers...maybe Brees.

Tebow didn't even start every game. How can you give to MVP to a guy who has only started 10 games.

You're right its Rodgers but it could easily be a guy who started ten games. Especially if he turns the team around and they have success.

Right. All depends on how they look at it. If the Bronco's go to the playoffs and get to the AFC champ. game or the Super Bowl...well, Tebow will be league MVP, at least most likely whether or not he had a lot to do with them making it there.
